I don't think there's any need for Dark Link. He'd be too similar to Link. Then again they did have Young Link, so you might be on to something there.

Daisy was the name of the princess in the old Mario games before they changed it to Peach.
When I said "Pikmin weapon" before, I shound have explained. You throw the item and lots of tiny Pikmin come out and start attacking all players nearby, a bit like the red shell.
