to those who are computer savvy, please help me.

I have a problem. I usually use Sonic Stage or Winamp to listen to music. My little brother was messing w/ my computer and now most of my files are converted into sonic stage format. Having them on Sonic stage formant doesn't allow me to listen to them on winamp. I dowloaded a song a friend sent me and I had to save it on to Sonic Stage before I could hear it. Does anyone know how I can get it to stop changing the music files from its original format?

well.. you can right click the file type you wish to associate with winamp.. then "Open with" >> then under the program selector you choose "browse" and then click winamp.. then there'll be a check box that will say "Always use selected program to open this type of file".. and then OK.. that should work.. I think o_o
