"Arsene Lupin" was a very popular French character created by Maurice Leblanc around the time of Sherlock Holmes; a gentleman thief. I think the idea is that Lupin's his grandkid, although I don't know if it's ever explicitly stated.

Yes, Lupin the 3rd is a cool series. I haven't seen it in ages though. It
might be interesting to see it spawn into a real live movie version someday. Jim Carey might be a likely candidate to play Lupin.

everyone great news lupin was on last night at 1 30 am instead of 5 am so guess ratings were raised back up on it again.

Yeah! I noticed! I just wish they'd bring Case Closed back though too. I love Lupin, but I love Case Closed even more!
