There are people that are physically stronger then Hulk.
Cyclops doesn't know anything about martial arts, and is pansy.
Wolverine is the best at what he does.
I know you're a fan of Namor however its not a stupid assumption of posters that Namor is class 85. He's been that way for 95% of his existence in comics according to the official bios despite his feats in comics. Now he's been made a low level class 100. Its only with the more recent handbooks that fans were able to find that out so you cant blame them.
Wolverine continually says he's the best at what he does in the comics, its his catchphrase, then he goes on to do quite amazing things given his powers such as surviving nukes, having his adamantium skeleton ripped out and being clinically dead yet bringing himself back to consciousness to prevent Jean falling out of the ship. Theres other things like holding his own against class 100 powerhouses, even getting the better of some of them. I know in at one battle with Grey Hulk wolverine certainly seemed to have the upper hand which is amazing when you compare their abilities.
I just really dont think those things are stupid assumptions for a poster to make. You love Namor therefore you're saying people quite understandably underestimating his strength is stupid. Plus the barrage of wolverine fanboys who overrat ehim and make up ridiculous feats for him has backlashed against peoples affinity for the character on these forums. Its sad because people are losing sight of what he actually is capable of and what he actually has been able to do in the past.

Dude i think u have it mixed up. When in water, Namor is an extremely high Class 100. When fresh out of water, he gradually starts to go down in strength until he hits the CL 85 point. The only time he is ever CL 40 is when he is completely dried out.

You misunderstood him entirely. He meant that people assume that the very second Namor leaves the water, his strength instantly becomes Class 40 as opposed to gradually degrading, as it does.
Or I believe that's what he meant.

Marvels class 100 system is messed up and it needs sorting out. All it means is that that person can lift at least 100 tons however they can more than likely lift 100's of times that amounteven thousands of times that amount if theyre high level.
You're class 100 if you're either level 6 or 7 according to the new marvel rating system. Those of class 6 include those just outside of class 100 and up to those who are medium levellers in that class. Namor is level 6. Only beings like the hulk, Thanos, King Thor and so on are level 7 and are high level class 100. Namor is not.
You've got it wrong Arm. Namor used to be class 85 in water and then after time away from water would eventually dwindle to class 40. Its only as he's gotten stronger in recent times that your way has become correct.

And you've got me completely wrong. There were two sides to his statement. One that Namor is class 85 and the other that from that level he drops to class 40 when he's out of water. Both points contained in his one sentence and both he deemed stupid assumtions. I focused on the first point. Ok? 🙂

But how many times I have said that Namor is Clas 100 in these forums? Almost every thread about him. I would just think that people would get it by now...

It doesnt matter how many times you say it, Namors been class 85 for the majority of his life and people know that. He's only officially become low level class 100 recently. People believe comic book scans, they dont go by word of mouth, therefore as its a recent development i dont think its a stupid assumption its completely understandable.
