well, if nothing else works. he (the MC) could use his shields for a little while, just to get close to the T-800. lol.. & beat the Sh!t out of it. I can live with that. The variable is How much damage can the MC's Shields take from the Terminators Phased-Plasma Rifle before it cuts through. Evidently Plasma would cut through the MC actual armor with ease, as in the book Fall of Reach. It is just a matter how much damage he receives... i guess 😉 😄
P.S. I’m going to ignore TheSorrow for the time being. However I will continue to debate this with anyone else.
Also it says the Original Terminator which is the T-800 not the 101 or the T-850.
Strength and Punch.
Master chief can easily punch through Titanium Tank armor in Halos 2-4. He can rip a Prometheans arm off in Halo 4, Promethean’s armor is made of Hardlight(Hardlight is a hardened energy that is far stronger than any metal known to man. Don’t believe me? Look it up. Forerunner Hardlight.)
Based on the movies the T-800′s strength doesn’t seem to be any higher than johns.
Resistance. In the books Johns armor was almost impenetrable when used against standard Fire arms, the games never seem to portray that. John fell through the Atmosphere of Requiem, landed on rock, and got up no more than a minute later. There is a crater where he landed and if you walk around you can see some covenant still trying to escape from the wreckage but dying fairly quick from their injuries. Master Chief can take a fairly large amount of damage from the Covenant Plasma Pistol, it has power output of 100-150 KV (kilovolts). The Westinghouse M-27 Phased Plasma Pulse Rifle, the standard rifle the Terminators use, has an out put in the 40 W(watt) range. 100 KV is about 100000 Ws. Now the humans eventually used similar Plasma weapons as the terminators because normal projectiles had little effect. In other words if the Westinghouse can damage them the Plasma Pistol will do significantly more. If the Plasma pistol only does a small amount of damage to the Chief than the Westinghouse will do significantly less. This is all on wiki.
Speed.
Master Chief can run up to 65mph. The terminator can run as fast as 25 Mph. MC’s speed will also make it harder for the Terminator to hit him with a punch or a gun.
What I see happening is they both fight with their weapons and both run out of ammo because both weapons are relatively ineffective against each other. Then it turns in to a fist fight. MC would eventually win because he’s faster and as soon as his shields go down he can just stay way from the Terminator till they come back.
Now this is just if he uses human weapons. If he has Covenant weapons he will win the gun fight. If he has Forerunner Weapons... Well the Terminator won't last any more than a minute.
Also Master chief isn't in his 60s he's 46 in halo 4 but if you at in the time he spent in Cryo all his life then his body is more like 32-36.
Also Master Chief's overall life will be longer than any human's. to put it in to prospective: Master Chief is a Spartan 2, Sargent Johnson was part of the Spartan one Project, he was 80 years old in Halo 3. The Spartan 2 are extremely superior to Spartan 1s in every way. So Johnson looked about 40. So master Chief at least has the body of a 20 year old spartan, well with wrinkles. So he could very well be fighting till he's 140...
With Halo age weapons destroying a T-800 should be relatively doable. Kyle Reece even says so in the first movie. Sarah: "Can you stop it?"
Reece: "With these weapons I don't know. Maybe."
Something like that anyway.
A marine could take out a terminator with the right weapon. However Vice-Verca. But Master Chief... would dominate.
