Lesse... one, people's individual traits tend to outweigh anything sex/race/etc. inherent to begin with.
Two, ultimately, orientationism, sexism and such boils down to being a jerk, and like I was saying before, a jerk on inertia, which isn't even an interesting kind of jerk. Even if done as a joke, it's such an extremely overdone joke that it laps back into being a jerk again really fast because everyone tries to frame it as a joke, we know it's just a thin cover and it's still the same lazy-insults that make one feel embarrassed for the insulter that they're just throwing generic insults at categories instead of the actual target.
If someone wants to insult me, then I want them to insult me, not just lazily throw an insult at whatever category they think I'm in. Ditto insulting whatever character or other person. Insulting a character because she's a girl and therefore must be a **** (or raped? I don't get that one in the slightest honestly, how it was supposed to be either joke or insult) isn't actually insulting so much as showing the person's prior lousy biases to the sex which, honestly, we probably already knew and can safely discount (ditto insulting a gay character with a trait they don't have, and so on).
The hippy thing from earlier was a good zing because it's actually based on what *I* did. However, if someone chose to insult me by saying "You're gay, and all gays are (something that doesn't apply to me)," then deep down, I feel sorry for them when I'm asking them to stop.
Lousy insults should be pitted and swept under the rug as quickly as possible with a mild correction so the person will be more likely to insult properly in the future and not repeat their sad mistakes.
And ultimately that's probably more about my philosophy on insults than you wanted to know.
