I loved Marvels. Even as a kid I could appreicate it. Maximum Carnage also since it was one of the first comics I read and my first introduction to Spider-Man.

Thanos' Quest + Infinity Gauntlet is really, really good. I'd rank that as one of the best.

Geoff Johns Rogue War run on Flash is excellent too.

I concur on the TQ+IQ series, I'd also like to add Ragnarok & Dark Knight Returns

flash rogue war was a damn fine comic series...

Watchmen...period. After I read it, I was afraid to go back to normal comics. It's so much more than comic though. If you haven't read it yet go out get it or download it. You might not think it's the best ever, but it will be at least very worth your while.
