This is the first SW game I've played where I've actually gave a da** about what was going on I really felt attached to the characters and I loved the whole idea of the game the only problem i had with it was that it was tooo short and i cant wait to play KOTOR3 because I think that Bioware is the only company that should be trusted to do the KOTOR series I think Obsidian did a piss poor job and was only worried about making money and not worried about creating a good story line

Ya know, you don't need to star "damn."

Wow! this thread is still goin! COOL!!!

Hey, this thred still hasn't been closed!!!

They were good games. Not the best SW games. But they're up there.

I beg to differ.

Oh boy... here we go... *Sits down and starts eating popcorn*

Man, old threads have been popping up everywhere lately.

KOTOR pwns all Star Wars games.

Its up there as an RPG. Just my little old opinion though...

Ah, KOTOR was the best Star Wars game in many years. In... 6 years?

I still remember staying up late playing Rogue Squadron for the N64. And back when I was real small I loved Dark Forces and TIE Fighter.

Maybe it's nostalgia *sigh*

Dude Jac, my home room picked King Kong over Revenge of the Sith.

THEY WILL BURN IN HELL!!

KotOR was just...poor. It contradicts a fair few portions of EU, and the PT era styling just sucks...

KotOR was better than KotOR 2. And I didn't like the shuttle styling. It looked too much like a Lambda class shuttle. It looks like they haven't changed at all in 4000 years.

I think they tried to appeal to fans by making the Jedi all PTish, even though the Jedi should be more like the ones in TOTJ. Seems like all TOTJ material was second-hand, useless and/or rushed.

They set the game in the wrong era.

Thats true, the "Darth Revan" and "Darth Malak" thing really confused everyone. I guess Bane really didn't come up with the darth title.

That is strange to say considering you have Traya as your signature.

Well she and the others have this problem with KOTOR not looking like ToTJ comics. Don't know why myself... I mean the TOTJ comics were just ugly... did you see the ships? They were totally impractical. What kind of star ship has fins? It's not like there is any air in space. The only thing that bothered me was the Jedi mirroring the PT Jedi, but really it's not like it matters. The guys who run EU are always reconing things and since ToTJ came out before the PT which clarifed the idea of a Jedi counsel, and the rule of no relationships ect.

So I guess Bioware figured they should create KOTOR in the PT style to mirror GL's vision of the Jedi. Now they even have comics backing it up so I guess it doesn't matter. I doubt Anderson cares since apparently he isn't even involved in SW anymore and it's not like he was the one who actually drew the comics although I'm sure he hand in their appearance.

So really no reason the blame Bioware... they happen to be one of the most popular game companies around.
