okay this thursday to saturday is a 20% to 50% money off comic books
at a comic book store near me
i cant buy all the comics
so can someone tell me some comic book that u need to have to be a true comic book fan??

Punisher Kills the Marvel Universe, Marvels, Kingdom Come, All the House of M Stuff, Earth X, Justice, Marvel Universe: The End, Infinity War/Gauntlet/Crusade/Abyss, Thanos Quest, Onslaught: Epilogue, Onslaught: Marvel Universe.

Those are some of the best books and series EVER.

^Ignore most of that.

For big event type comics-
Kingdom Come if they have it is a great read.
Infinity Gauntlet and Thanos Quest are good.
Identity Crisis is very good read.

Good minis-
Great Lakes Avengers is hilarious
Venom/Carnage was decent, but the art was intoxicating
Identity Disc is pretty good, if you like the villains.
Namor's recent 12 issue series WAS a monthly, but only 12 issues, so I'll just call it a mini. It's a love story type deal, but it's pretty good.

For lighter comics that are monthly-
Almost anything Ultimate (Esp Spidey and X-men if you want easy reads)
Cable/Deadpool is damn good

Heavier reads-
The Ultimates
New Avengers related
House of M related

Personally, I say pickup anything Deadpool or Azrael you can find, most of their stuff is worth reading.

Everything with Alex Ross in it...

I recommend Batman Hush or Daredevil: Guardian Devil...........

if they are still in the back issue section buy all of the Supreme Power comics... (there are 18..... i think)

scoobs i think there're trades out right now

and they'll be making a new HC treatment on the entire 18 issues on september... so yipee!

i recommend it too bud... much better than supes!
