To be told the truth, I don't think it was very good. 😬
Everything (Like usually in What If comics) was rushed fast. They didn't really show what Namor's life on surface world would have been, only for few pages, and then he was doing the same things on WWII then he was doing on 616 universe. They never fleshed out his personality either. If the ycould have made it a little longer, or made two issues, it would have been better. I only got it because im a huge Namor fan.
All that said, I would give it 7/10. Not very good, but not complete crap either. There are lot better comics released this week, like Ultimate Wolverine Vs. Hulk #1. 🙂

Reading your list of abilities that Nmaor has you missed a couple. He generates electricity which was learned from electric and has a type of extra sensory perception which allows him to to see with his eyes closed this how he defeated Super skrull, He tried the Electricity power on Hulk but he laughed at his attempt. Ok guys I realize you guys are fans of particular characters but come on. it seem most of you guys want to put namor on the same level as Wolverine and Thing. NO NO. This mutant has repeatedly beaten Hulk, Thing, Ironman and fought Thor to a draw. In fact marvel has ran from a all out fight between Thor and Namor. He has destroyed Hercules and fought the FF to draw. Can Wolverine do this, NO. I think I know why the majority dislike Namor. When I was in school I did a paper on prejudices in comics. and in my research I found out in the 60's Namor was commonly liken to the Black Muslim. Yes With that whole Anti-American thing Namor went through. Before you cast my words to hell remember comics are built around subconscious (forgive my spelling) thought and fashioned after wanted or acquired personalities. YES! Thor is JESUS, YES Most Americans love Jesus, I do. Jesus can't be beat. That is why most Marvel comic fans routinely say that Thor is the most Powerful. That is why Marvel made so Powerful. I think all will agree that Comic book companies like Marvel and DC are on a high intellectual level, they have to be in order to make money and to convince highly intelligent readers to hold passionate conversations like this one. The Namor story is the most fabled and interesting story of all. Atlantis with all of its wonders and lost history. We are still looking for this place.

Doesnt matter its only a matter of time before that record is broken. Just a month ago we were talking just over 300 mph now we're talking over 400 mph.
Also you'll notice that your quote says in LEVEL flight those planes could fly at over 400 mph. Thats what really matters my friend thats the true measure of speed. Namor has shown to be able to keep up with fighter planes you havent shown that he can dive faster than them also. Therefore highlighting that quote is irrelevant.
Pigeons can fly faster than Peregrine falcons in level flight, In fact many birds can however when it comes to stooping (diving) its body's built in a way that allows it to travel faster than any bird on the planet.
Show that Namor can dive at speeds faster than or as fast as fighter planes and you'll have a point cos as it stands with this new record speed Storm can conclusively fly as fast as WW2 fighter planes as well in level flight. 😱
