daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam man how long does it take you to scan all that?? coz im pretty sure my arm would ache after a while...
I'm getting my comics from...not so legal sources. whistling So can't really say that I have scanned these myself. 🙁
The main reason being that they don't publish Namor comics here on Finland. I have exactly two Finnish comics where there is Namor on them, and he doesn't even talk on either of them.

Might just post the PM answer here. 🙂
Hmm. It all started couple of years back, when I stumbled into Namor messageboard (inactive now though) and found a list that named about twelve of his feats. I decided to look if he was really that good, and get my hands on the comics. My interest grew, so I got my hands on a Namor checklist, and expanded the list of feats as I aquired more comics. Now that list is quite big, and I know about everything about Namor. 😄

thenn why u love him so much
"LOVE" is an understatement. It's more like a perfect combination of physical and psychical attraction towards this character which enable me to be sustained by Namor feats only, that I don't need food, drink or other nutritions anymore.
Oh, and I like him because he is the best character of the Multiverse, duh. 😄
Now the feats from Bob Harras/Jae Lee era where Namor fought Suma-Ket.
Excellent throwing weapon feat. Namor kills an gigantic Leviathan, ancient and powerful monster that was born even before Atlantis sunk beneath the waves with the prow of his fallen flagship.

Namor knocks down Tiger Shark with one punch.

Resists the seduction of Nereids, the "Four sisters of Death" and kills one of them with a punch. Great willpower feat.

Punches away thousands of tons of rock together with Tiger Shark and Tamara.
http://img114.imageshack.us/img114/2337/punchesawayrock9gs.gif
Next, his fight with Suma-Ket...
But first some information about who Suma-Ket is, plus another mention that Namor is Final Heir to throne of Neptune.
http://img128.imageshack.us/img128/1981/sumaketinfo9vr.gif
"Powers/Abilities: Suma-Ket had superhuman strength, though much less so then Namor, and durability; he could rally from repeated direct hits from an enraged water-soaked Namor without injury. His greatest power was derived from magic, which prevented even Neptune and the gathered forces of Atlanteans from killing him."
So he isn't a punk. Want more proof? Well, here it is.
First Namor seems to have upper hand...he surprises Suma-Ket with his speed who says that "No mortal can move so fast!".
http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/6830/nomortalcanmove8dp.gif
But soon we find out that Suma-ket is more powerful then about any enemy Namor has faced before. He defeats and kills Namor in three pages.

Luckily for Namor, Neptune once again shows that Namor is his favorite, and resurrects him from death. He also gives him the Sacred Armor of Atlantis.
http://img300.imageshack.us/img300/1945/namordestiny24ic.gif
After that, Namor defeats the Nereids.
http://img115.imageshack.us/img115/9936/defeatsnereids7ko.gif
And shows that Tiger Shark is no problem to him when he takes it seriously.

And then, one of the most badass and best battles Namor has ever had...the final battle against Suma-Ket. Words can't describe it, so just look at the pictures.

OMG a Bendis interview:
http://www.newsarama.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=66106&highlight=Namor
Here is some stuff he says about Namor...with corresponding smilies from me...
Q: Will you hurry up and put Namor on the New Avengers? Group needs its Aquaman, man.BB: He is fun to write.
😱
Q: Is Namor such an ass because he doesn't have his own book anymore?BB: I think he’s an ass because he’s an ass and always has been.
Q: Do you think we'll see more Namor in the future like say a possible mini by you?BB: Not a mini but he’ll pop up.
Q: What was up with that really creepy smile Namor gave?BB: And here comes the thing I get the most ____ for. Here is the script to that scene.
2- Iron Man's had enough of Namor all together. He's just exhausted from him.
IRON MAN
Yes, we get it!
You don't trust our teammates. We understand.
3- Low looking up, Namor doesn't take his eyes off of Reed.
NAMOR
No family, no girlfriends.
4- Reed looks up and glares at him. Reed's pretty sure Namor ____ed his girlfriend Sue - I don't care what Tom thinks.
5- Same as 3.
NAMOR
No one.
If one of you shared a secret of my Atlantis that came back to harm anyone in my kingdom the hell I would bring to this surface world...
6- Iron-Man stands up. Trying to calm Namor down with the physical act of meeting his face to face.
IRON MAN
Why are you always ready to attack us?-
😛
Discuss if you like...
Looks like we will be seeing more Namor. 😄
Twice, yep. 🙂
And I believe that he is immortal. How otherwise he could be a heir to a god if he lived the lifespan of normal Atlantean? (About 120+ years, and he has lived most of this time and still looks like he is in his early 30's)
There was a short What If story where he become sea god after Neptune, I think I posted the scan few pages back...
Mark Millar interview about Civil War.

Some speculation about Namor's side and other mentions about Namor:
NRAMA: Marvel has played up the "Whose Side Are You On" angle, and have identified Captain America and Iron Man as leaders of the two factions. Some readers have speculated that Cap, being the soldier that he is, would naturally side with his government and the pro-registration side. But looked at as a symbol of the ideals this country was founded on, i.e. freedom and civil liberties, the case could be made he's actually on the con side - a case supported by the fact that Wolverine and Namor seem to be on his side, and its hard to imagine them on the pro side under any circumstances. Any thoughts you can share as to who is on what side and why?MM: No, I don't want to give that stuff away. That's really what the book's about. I wasn't even going to reveal who picked what side, but that seems to have gotten out there already. Tony has his reasons - as you'll see in the book - but, as you say, Cap is about freedom more than anything else. He's about altruism and not being in anyone's pocket. He'd be repulsed by the idea of doing this as a job. He's all about civic duty. He's no lapdog and is bigger than any government, whether it's Republican or Democrat. He represents the ideal.
NRAMA: Do you think they'll be much division in fandom in terms of this issue? It's one thing to advocate giving up civil liberties when you feel genuinely threatened and it could make you more secure. But these are comic book superheroes. Do you think there will be equal number of fans that feel strongly that superheroes should be registered with the government.
MM: Yes. Definitely. And you'll constantly change your mind as you keep reading. Both sides have very compelling arguments. As readers, we might be drawn to the old ways we've always known (which Cap reps), but think about it: Would you rather The Punisher or Ghost Rider or Namor were licensed (or even locked up) or would you be quite happy seeing them running around doing whatever the Hell they wanted?
This should just tell how good of a fighter Namor is...he thinks that judo is primitive:

A shame he is too cocky, too arrogant at times. I know it's part of his personality, and it's amusing at times, but sometimes also a little bit frustrating.
