“Jak do you really think we should do this?’’
“Shut up Dax, I’m trying to concentrate. Besides you never complained with all the other contracts.’’
“But this is different,…I mean he’s a politician,all the other contracts we’re…criminals.’’
“So is he!”
“Jak. It’s full of people,and Freedom League, and even some KG’s.’’
Oh right.Ashelin had recently called back upon the help of the Krimzon Guards,and altered their training programs.
“Shut it.I’m trying to aim’’
He placed his right eye behind the sniper lens. He would shoot him in the chest.
Right when he wanted to shoot he heard a big bang.
“What the ****!?”
“Someone finished the job before you Jak.Lets get the hell outa here before they spot us,and blame us!”
“Move on without me Dax,I’m gonna look for the hunter.’’
“Why?”
“He stole my contract.”
Daxter sighed, and took the A-Hoover.
“Who was it?”
“Whadda’ you mean?”
“Who stole your contract?’’
“Dunno” Jak sighed. He looked around the apartment. It was a mess. A big mess. Since they changed Daxter back nobody cleaned up. Not that they did before. In just a couple of months Jak would be alone. Dax was gonna live with Tess. He looked further he suddenly saw the picture .The picture of him and Keira. At the Sentinel Beach. Long before all those horrible things happened.
“How could I let that happen?” Asked Jak sad.
“Let what happen”
“Let Keira leave me…it’s my fault. I was away almost everyday. Out fulfilling contracts. It came down to me neglecting her.’’
“Yeah,maybe it is your fault’’
“Hey!”
“It’s the truth Jak.It is your fault’’Dax immediately looked down.Sorry that he hurt his BEST friend like that.
