More heroic? The Flash (Barry) in his legendary death sequence in "Crisis on Infinite Earths" has to be up there. Or Supergirl for that matter. Cap's death in Universe X was pretty awe-inspiring too. He'd probably get my vote (added to the whole Loki/Thor thing).

Also moving to comic movies.....this isn't a battle.

Cap is more a soldier than a hero. Colossus is more a hero. He always looks for his friends. Cap gives orders and it doesn't really matter to him who is the enemy.
