Im currently reading Cloak of Deception. It's ok. But to say thatit's a better read than Labrynth of Evil, just makes me not wanna read it, L/Evil i mean..But i still will. I like Luceno. He wrote Ep 3 as well.

I'll get the new Vader novel

Nov 22.

Nah, that's Matthew Stover's work. . . rather disappointing considering Shatterpoint was his as well.

And Janus, is COD really that good? I though it takes place prior to TPM.

COD is really good, and it's a broader scenario than LOE, which was good, but kinda condensed into a very short timespan before ROTS. Don't get me wrong, LOE is still high standard work... I just like COD's in depth plot twists better.

I think Cloak of Deception is way to political but Palpatine makes it not boring during the the times he's personally involved which is half the time..

The action is second rate.

I like "Darth Maul: Shadow" hunter way better. It's the sequel to Cloak of Deception. And the sequel to "Cloak" is "the phantom menace"

then "Rouge planet" with Obi Wan and 11 yr old anakin, which is the next book I'll read.

Well, you're entitled to your opinion.

COD is a book highly intelligent people will appreciate. If you're in it for the "Maul saberz fools" or "Annykin kills mass droids", try Shadow Hunter and ROTS novel respectively.

CoD is more of a thinking game, the entire book is written so you can follow along. I definitely think it's one of his best works.
