Good question. The races are men, elves, and dwarves. Nothing more and nothing less. Magic doesn't exist in the world. Only the Divine Power that is only given to loyal followers that allows them to harness it and use it to bend reality to their will. More on the Divine Power will be spoken about in class.

Battle Royale - The RPG
Based on the novel/film/manga of the same name.
The 9th grade students of Manayashi High School are about to partake on a surprise field trip to a "Mysterious destination." After all, they could use a break from their busy lifestyle. Always studying, and not to mention the Japanese government is completely corrupt. Fascism is rapidly destroying the country and the people are even living in fear. They are told simply at the beginning of the day to wear their own regular school uniforms, and not to bring anything special. As they enter the bus jubilantly, some of the students begin heckling their teacher Mrs Nokamora, and her "business associate" Mr M. They get no answers, and are sent onto the bus, still asking each other what they think their destination could be.
Their destination isn't exactly the ideal field trip. They enter a dark tunnel, and are gassed and each of them lose consciousness. They awake on an island, inside of yet another classroom, surrounded by armed men in military uniform. They also have a strange device attached to their necks, like a metallic dog collar. Confused and worried, Mr M speaks up.
"Welcome to "Battle Royale!". The object of this experiment is to simply survive. The device attached to each of your necks is a small bomb. The game is that you will all fight until there is only one of you left alive. You will each be given a bottle of water, a map of the island, one watch, some bread, and one surprise weapon or tool. If no one dies within every 3 days, every collar will explode."
Will you attempt to find a way to get around murder? Somehow stop the bombs from exploding? Or will you take up arms and actually KILL your classmates? Can you do it?
That is a rough overview of how the rpg will start, and subsequently the game will be played on the island. Note the island will also be home to many traps, and other things like that. And yes, characters WILL die. So do not complain if I kill off your character, it's the point of the game. You can team up with another player if you want to...but then again, you never know if they'll stab you in the back - literally!
