also, it's been pointed out to me that my story contradicts the game. I set it 4000 years after the Campaign instead of after the game, nearly 11,000 years later. so let's call it even and say this is 13,000 years later. (hope i didn't lose anyone there... i kinda confused myself)

yeh, see if we're 1/2 animal, i'd like to be 1/2 my namesake. a wolf. (Okami= Japanese for Wolf. Oni= Japanese for Demon... I'm a Japanese fanatic...)
