Perfect storm Rp.
A bunch of friends were living their dreams out on the ocean. The first few years had gone great and they were able to upgrade their ship and fishing equipment. Although through all of the prior success this year had been the worst they had seen in a while. Now with only one month of the season left the crew all agreed to go out into the more dangerous parts of the sea. This would be there final fishing trip. No one would ever find a trace of them.

You'll start out on the docks and will be given time to get situated. You will even be given the option to get some stuff from the city before the team sets sail (When everyone makes their character). You can control what happens to the ship as long as you do NOT sink it prior to it's scheduled time. There will be no returning once the ship sets sail and you will have about a month of messing around and having fun before the storm hits and you turn back. Once everyone agress to turn back the ship will be hit in the storm and sunk. If it is more popular then I believed then I will add on time if everyone wants to. Infact if anyone wants to you can add time. Pretty much pal around, makes friends, have fun, fish (obviously haha), and pretty much just be a normal person.

The apocalypse has happened, the universe completely destroyed only now, through one of the rips in the milky way galaxy, every person, or thing, that ever existed there has been placed somewhere in the galaxy. Fortunately for those who were too old to see the true power of space travel, Earth made every planet human safe. The probelem: The galaxy is overpopulated, everything after the first few years of the rift has become corrupt, and now, there is an all out galactic war between the assassins and those who are only in it for money and power, and the GLE (galactic law enforcers)

Story: The story is based more or less off of the first game.

Two special Forces squads have been called in to eliminate a hostile (Though, unknown to the Sqauds) Alien threat. They know next to nothing except they're area of operations is a top-secret Military base codenamed Area 51.

Bravo Squad is sent in first. The mission starts off bad, with the squad leader KIA, and only gets worse. Soon, Bravo Squad is seperated and it's members are lost miles underground.

Delta Squad is sent in two days after contact was lost with Bravo. Their mission goes sour, as well. As they are overwhelmed by Aliens and are scattered throughout the miels long mine that is AREA-51.

Setting: The time setting is modern, the Squads are armed with mostly common weapons (Pistols, SMG's, etc. ) but as they go along and get deeper into the Mine new, Alien weapons are discovered.

The survivors will all eventually come together (Well, if you choose to.) but will spend quite some time fighting off Aliens and infected people alone.

As the story gets deeper a few randomly chosen people will become "infected", and will have the ability to "mutate" at will, turning them into a mindless, yet powerful killing machine.

Each squad will have 6 Members.

Squad Leader and Assistant Squad Leader, and 4 others.

I will control both Squad leaders.

Rules:

No Godmoding: Expect to run quite a bit. One or two people can not fight off a horde of baddies by themselves, no matter how skilled you are at combat. And, at some points I will make you lose whatever weapon you have. This is just to add to the terror factor.

Cussing: Because the characters in this RP are all grown men, I will allow swearing, and some graphic descriptions. But use common sense people. I trust you all to keep it to a certain level.

OOC: I will make an OOC thread and an RP thread. Please, only post OOC in the OOC thread.

Dungeon Master: Even though this is the unhosted section, I will from time to time take control of your characters, only to make them get into certain prediciments.

I.E.:

"As Billybob crept down the dark passageway, a hidden trap door in the floor opened, causing him to fall down it. "

"When Billybob came to, his gun was no were to be found."

At which point I will leave it to you to do whatever.

Policy concerining mooks: I will leave it up to you to kill most of the baddies, the grunts and low-ranked bad guys are your cannon fodder. However, I will be taking control of "bosses" every now and again, to amp up the challenge.

So... who is in?
