Firefly(serenity) rpg
follows the same timeline as the show (cancelled in 2002 🙁 but is 9.5 out of 10 on imdb). this takes place on a different ship, different people. heres the plot, a ship and it's crew going from job to job, trying to get work. i'll ofcourse be captain and there will be, 1-2 pilots(pilot and co-pilot), 1 mechanic, 1 second in charge, any number basically gunman (Jayne), 0-1 doctor, and varous other roles

Wouldn’t you be struck in fear? Would you be screaming for help? Or are you a dirty pervert that wants to look up to women’s skirts? It doesn’t matter, they are out to get you anyway.
You know what “they” are. You know; it’s only bunch of creatures out to devour your soul, but don’t worry it only happens in “The world” state. From your face I can tell you have no clue what I’m talking about. You’ll know soon, after you get your Persona that is.

From that moment I remember everything stopping around me and then everything just moved again. It must’ve been a dream right? You people must be thinking “How can a “smart” student as yourself see things?” I wish I knew the answers, I’m not psychologist or Albert Einstein. You may be saying that I’m crazy. Call me whatever you wish, but I can confidently say that I saw a man saying something about "time", "age" and something called "persona". Of course, I really never knew what it meant until I met strange students with unqiue abilities in the school. Back then I was just a regular senior waiting to graduate from this hell and move on with my life, go to college and be a teacher.
I never believed in monsters out to eat your souls or some creatures coming out there to devour your soul, it's almost like saying "Hey! There's a monster in your bed and he's gonna bite your face off anytime you get out of the bed." After that day I started to search for some answers, a guy can hallucinate when he doesn't sleep right? Or... maybe I'm getting it wrong, but during these parts I thought illusions or hallucinations were normal for me as a senior excited to graduate.
I got into lots of clubs, activities, and got involved in community service. That's good right? But what they really don't look at is my other "job" at first it was disguised as a book club, it took me a while before I realized that these kids lead by a school counciler. Calling themselves "P.I.T".
But all of a sudden, deep in me wanted those things to exsist. I was actually tired with normal everyday life with countinuous same old cycle, I asked myself "How about playing super hero for once?"
Anyway, that's not the point so called "Persona" or "Them" I really never knew them until some time later until I realized the truth what they were and how they acted. "Them" were known as some kidn of angry spirits that died tragically and never went to hell nor heaven, you can say that they are bunch of ghosts in different forms. "Persona" on the other hand were some strange living creatures embedded with your personality and your soul depending on what your personality the Persona's shape and form differs. For exemple if you were courageous your persona would most likely to be a form of knight. Call it a guardian angel, it saved my life tons of times if you'd ask me.
"John! Come downstairs you are late!"
Anyway I'll countinue this, I gotta go to school. For now, litsen to my normal, boring school life and how it all started.

My parents expected me an A-plus on my report card everytime the quarter. And no, obviously I wasn't their fantasy child like they wanted. I was an average human being in this earth; what did you expected of me? Some kind of next Bill Gates or maybe Albert Einstein? No, I was just a regular student I can confidently say that I did try my best in school; sticking with homework, failing and passing tests a regular life fit for a senior. But, today I didn't expect my life to change so much from a regular student into some kind of super hero killing monsters.
I was just a young student living in city of Tokyo in Japan.
"Hey John! Wake up, you are drooling!" a voice yelled, yeah that's my friend sitting next to me on the bus. Yagami Shirakawa, he was cheerful as ever and minding every kind of buisness I was in including my day dreaming. "Huh, what?" I answered, "Did I fall asleep again?" I was half a sleep what did you think? I'm not a morning type of person that is hyper active as my friend sitting next to me.
People around me started to giggle and laugh, never in my life I was so humiliated. "Im going to get you for this Yagami...," I said vengefully and now thanks to him I couldn't sleep anymore and that damn bastard is still living with me as a friend in this rock. And plus I started to think: "Why did I become a friend with him?" the story goes way back which I won't tell right now.
It wasn't long before we reached the school, at first I thought I was in a different school; then I realized I was in the right school after I got off the crowded bus. I couldn't even breathe with people squeezing around me and violating my space, imagine a whole stampie of students squeezing air out of you as you get out of the bus; torturous is it not?
My life wasn't all that different, nothing special.
The hallway was crowded, the teachers and students were speaking amongest themselves, and those kids over there by the trashcan over the wall thought that they were so "gangster" that they started to hit on girls walked by them.
"Ah, John yes? I've been looking for you." a voice said, that's my counciler behind me always contently urging me to join the book club that he had made. I was planning to stop by but due to his bugging personality I decided not to "Sorry Counciler not today, I gotta go home and watch my brother." wait... I didn't have any brothers or sisters. Sh*t.
"No, I mean I have to babysit for someone." I quickly fixed.
"Ah, that's too bad then I'll see you later." my counciler walked off, Jesus Christ I hated people contently saying "Join my club," it was almost as if they were forcing me to play checkers even if I didn't want to. Anyway, I better get to class before I'm late.
