It was once a peaceful place to live, the town of Cedarbrook Pines. Located in western Nevada, it was perhaps the most influentially successful town in the state, though one day, everyone seemingly disappeared without a trace overnight. That was fifty years ago.

Summer, 2008. Murders had begun to occur, locals laying the blame on monsters, and even the old residents that had supposedly disappeared... No one was sure what caused it, but... Something was alive in that dreary town...

Autumn, 2008. A group of five students from Lost Ridge High School in Kansas and their two History professors, oblivious to the murders [I blame poor news reporting...] go on a field trip to Cedarbrook Pines on a field trip to hopefully learn something about the way things were done way back in the day. A week later, they are reported missing.

Late Autumn, 2008. At the request of parents and faculty from the school, two CIA agents are sent in to investigate the disappearances of the professors and the students. Only one more week has passed since the proclamation of their disappearance, and hopes are high that they are alive and well, or at least alive...

Okay, so here's what we'll need:

Naturally, I want five students and two professors. And I need monsters/murderers. The CIA Agents will, naturally, be portrayed by Shadow Kitsune, and myself, assuming that she has not had a change of mind.

For the monsters/murderers, think along the Los Ganados [villagers] from RE4, but a little more sophisticated, and can speak English, rather than Spanish.

I can hear gears turning in some of your heads thinking "I'm gonna be the baddest of the bad when it comes to students, and carry ten $#!+loads of weapons. No. This was a school field trip, so the most I'll allow them to begin with is a knife or something of the sort, though I would find it believable (HINT, HINT) if perhaps they found some kind of weapon on the corpse of a previous victim of these monsters/murderers [for whom I need to find a better designated name than what I've been going by, though I will have done so by the time that I find this approved, if so it is...] such as perhaps a 9mm or a shotgun. Don't make it ridiculous, like an assault rifle, magnum, sub-machine gun, etc. Be realistic. That's what adds to my survival horror feel I'm looking for in this...

Anyway, I have Kit and myself in on this, so who else wants to give it a shot?

The first incident of the outbreak of the newly named "Delta Contagion", six years ago is now nothing but a memory. The few surivors of the inicial outbreak, returned to normal life and no side affects were ever noticed though they were under constant surveilance. "Today, we are here to take note of the couragios actions of the Hazmat teams that valiantly fought untill the end. They fought for the survival of the world, and if it wasn't for their actions, a lot more of the world would have been affected, rather than just the Eastern coast of America. We are here to pay our respects to Charlie, Delta, and Alpha teams that went above and beyond the call of duty. among some of the these soldiers are... Loran Rek, Lieutenant of Alpha team. Age 23. David Fenta, Sergeant of Delta Team. Age 22. Katerina Sands, Private of Echo Team. Age 24. Jacob Book, Lieutenant of Delta Team. Age 23.... All of these brave souls fought valiantly. There are a few Hazmats that did not die inside there." Now the infection is all but gone, but there is always the fear of a few rouge infected.

Reports have come in that a small town out in Ohio, has had absolutely no people in it. Finding this peculiar, your Commanding officer is planning to test out the new Hazmat team, Reclaimer. It will basically be a clean and sweep. Very fast, very effective. Judging by the size of the town, at the most you will be up again, three-hundred infected.

Anyone interested?

Rules:
No going all hero. We are just humans.
No killing your team mates. (Unless permission is given)
No immature banter.
Stick to the amount of ammo your gun will use.
Minimum of 5 sentances a post.
No one hit kills on anything above type 3 enemies.
Try to be realistic.

it's been nearly 10 years since the destruction of the Nephilim and the Kilrathi have been Confed's allies ever since. but there has been recent uprising near the edge of charted space, kilrathi rebels have attacked many bases and are becoming stronger although still easily beatible if found (think the Rebels from Star Wars) however there is something else on the horrizon, as a whole fleet that was dispatched to destroy the rebellion has dissapeared without a trace or transmission. the UAA (United Alien Armada) ship the Full Metal has been dispatched to find out what has happened

the year is 2017 replicants (robots so identical to humans that they have some artificial organs, excluding brain and they eat, sleep and bleed) are coming to earth at increasing rate, creating many troubles almost everywhere they go. this will focus on the everyday life of Blade Runners, the men and woman that hunt and "retire" replicants. they will be major events but mainly just every day life

Okay i decided to post this again but extended it a little

History! (the history is exactly how it is in Shaiya)
In the ancient times, there was the Goddess Etain and the three races she created: the Dragons, the Nordein, and the Dumianas. The Goddess Etain found faults in the Nordien and cast them into the soil. In their arrogance, the Dumianas questioned the Etain's power and authority. The Goddess was weakened by their disbelief , and the Dumianas killed her. Her soul was torn in two. The death of the Goddess left Teos out of balance and unprotected. Other Gods sought to take over Teos and created monsters to invade and destroy.

When the dust settled, there were two new Goddesses overseeing Teos. The Dragons hid themselves from the world. The remaining Dumianas were split into two factions; one for each Goddess.

These two races, the Elves and the Vail, find themselves in constant conflict with each other. Age old tensions fuel their aggression. Soon after, the Humans joined forces with the Elves while the Nordein re-emerged as the "Deatheaters" and allied with the Vail creating two factions: The Alliance of Light and the Union of Fury. Not only battling the monsters that still roam the lands, these two sides wage a never ending war over the control of Teos.

Outline of RP
The roleplay will be about some people who have decided that war isnt the answer and will leave the Alliance of Light and the Union of Fury, The roleplay will start of with the two camps. So when you make your bio sheet please let us know if your AoL or UoF. They will meet up an decide to become a secret army and together they try and find peace upon the land. Their will be dragon slaying, and a battle as well as the odd fights here and there. Powers and weapons will be given to you by your Goddess!

Students came and went throughout the years but one day a fire took the lives of 4 students. 20 years has passed and that event has all but vanished from the minds of the teachers and students alike. But one student has begun seeing strange images...spirits of the four who have been killed in the fire 20 years ago. It would seem that the fire wasn't an accident and that someone (who is now a teacher here) was trying to kill them to keep a dark secret concealed. Now that dark secret must be revealed.
