Fire and Ice are both Arcane. WoW has just split them into three for the comfortability of a player. If a WoW mage would be based on nothing but lore, they would only have one talent tree: Arcane.
What I ask of you who seems to be a WoW player is that you do not confuse this Warcraft roleplay with WoW. The differences are slim, but they are there. For example, Karazhan is far greater in Warcraft lore than it is in WoW. A mage does not really have mana. It is all about the stamina of the individual that permit you to cast this and that number of spells. Drinking water will not make you able to preforme more abilities. Kiting, Frost Nova and such things that you come across in WoW daily is not exactly how things work. Not trying to tell you how things should be done. I only want to ask that you do not confuse WoW things with Warcraft lore things.

Shadow Warrior
An evil lord has experimented on normal humans by pilaging villages and stealing human specemins and testing out his shadow experiment because of the selected few who can summon their shadow. He wants to rule the world with his experiment for alienating him for his gift of shadow summon he then swore that he will take over the world and rule over the shadow wielders now only the few who have been bestowed with the power to shadow wield can stop his destruction to the world
Warriors who use their shadows to shape into powerful animals based on their talents that has been accelerated to 1000x fold for example
For example:
Warrior type: Attack = Bull,Cow,Wolf
Warrior type: Defense = Elephant,Hippo,Walrus
Warrior type: Technical = Bat,Raven,Owl
Warrior type: Speed = Cheeta,Wildebeast,Fox
Warrior type: Balanced = Horse,Rabbit,Dragon
Cross Shadow: When a shadow and his wielder are in sync they fuse together which makes the wielder and shadow stronger
There's also a special cross shadow feature that will be added in the late part of the game

Arcane has rarely been used by any Night Elves because it is not in their culture, unlike Druidism and the Light. The most famous, and one of the few Night Elves that used Arcane was Illidan and he was deemed highly gifted in the arts of magic already at birth.

I wasn't aware that the Night Elf used Fel Magic except for the demon hunters...

It is not a common thing. In fact it has never been written or shown, BUT it has had occurences. Broll Bearmantle carried around an Idol that was tainted by Fel and it creeped into his very essence. A Night Elf blessed/cursed by demons of the Burning Legion also has potential to master Fel energies. As Broll has shown us however, possessing Fel potential limits the very culture of the elves by for example restricting access to various aspects of nature. It is an unholy thing, and shown dangerous.
Night Elves does not use Fel, but has and in theory could be forced upon them. Fel unlike drudism and shamanism or the light has no restrictions. No limit of races or types of belief. I am sure you get what I am trying to say. Drinking the blood of an Annihilan would most likely grant you Fel potentials. Being blessed by a Demon Lord would work too.

Indeed, they want nothing to do with it. They avoid it like a plague (Once again, Broll is the perfect example), but it can still be wielded by them thus' I had it included. Personally I hope for as little Fel involvement as possible in this roleplay.
