Actually Galactus can consume planets very quickly. He chooses to do the whole 7 day preparation so he can give the inhabitants time to retreat.

Ive decided to make another brave stab at making an rp..the last one didn’t work out too well for me, but hopefully the same issue wont arise.,this time, if I am not here to continue the plot for more than 2 days, the plot can move forward on its own..this idea is so large that it needs 2 posts, so bear with me 😛
This was my first ever rp idea being repeated 😄..based off the videogame, war of the monsters, for ps2, I give you the sequel -
WAR OF THE MONSTERS 2 – Cerebulon’s revenge
Story (short version.)
Aliens invaded earth. At first the human race thought they were dead, but some engineers and scientist from all over the world came together and created a series of powerful EMPs. Placed in strategic places around the world, they were all detonated, creating a huge shock wave that blasted all but the mother ship (and any ships docked) from the sky. At first, mankind rejoiced, but what they realized too late was that the fuel from the alien’s crafts was toxic, and whenever it mixed with life, hideous mutations were created.
Man tried to create super robots powered by the alien fuel to stop these monsters, but they soon turned on their masters and became monsters themselves. The alien race, known as the zorgulon, realizing that their new world was going to the dogs, starting to use their own fuel on their soldiers… Even on their great leader – Cerebulon, the immortal, destroyer of worlds.
Their experiments worked however, and the super soldiers they created still obeyed their masters. This was bad news for humans. All they can do is watch in horror to see who would win this war of the monsters.
Events progressed. Atomic island’s power plant self destructed, cities were completely destroyed, and eventually, the mother ship was attacked by an unknown monster, causing it, and cerebulon to crash. Though cerebulon’s full fury was unleashed, he was overcome and destroyed… or was he?
He was not called the immortal for nothing. Each time cerebulon’s body was destroyed, a spawn would be created from the corpse, which would regenerate into his full self after a short time. The alien invasion on earth was rekindled with his return, and the destroyer of worlds now stands on the front lines, destroying everything in his path. He seems unstoppable
You are a 100ft monster, bent on destroying everything in your path. The only things that can stop you are other monsters...the basic plot? the humans have now perfected the use of the alien chemicals to use on their robots/cyborg creations..they can now actively join the war of the monsters, and will have to face down not only the aliens, but wild monsters, rogue machines and the newly created seeds of vegon..You can create your own monster, or use ones from the game -
Congar: once a chimpanzee that was sent into space, an off-course UFO crashed into his small vessel and sent him hurling towards Earth, with the alien fuel mutating him at the same time. By the time Congar makes it to earth, his mutation is complete, now a giant gorilla-like monster. Congar is a homage to King Kong and other ape-like monsters based on him. In game he was an all-rounder class, boasting a balance of speed and power. He was capable of using his powerful voice both as a small projectile of pure sound, and as a special shockwave roar attack that reduced buildings to their skeletons, and sent enemies flying.
Preytor: can come in many forms; preying mantis, bee, ant, wasp, etc. but a few things in common are that they can all fly, all are very fast and agile, and they all have giant mantis like claws to attack with. The Praying Mantis was created when a scientist fed her some of the Alien fuel to see its effects. This resulted her rapidly growing to massive proportions and then devouring the scientist whole. Preytor is the fastest character in the game and is one of the two flying creatures in the game, he can spit acid and regurgitate a leech-like parasitic life form as his special. Preytor is a similar creature to Toho's Kamacuras and that from 1957 film The Deadly Mantis.
Togera: A reptile monster with the ability to sprout spikes from his body. He was awakened when a UFO crashed into the sea, where it sank to the bottom of the ocean and re-awakened the hibernating dinosaur after he inhaled the radioactive waste pouring out of it, giving Togera the ability to spout green flame from his mouth, both as a projectile and as a special. Togera is an homage to Godzilla as well as many other dinosaur-like monsters.
Robo 47: A US military war robot that packs heavy gauge steel plating and armaments. Robo-47 was shut down, and left in a warehouse in an unknown location (Rosedale canyon) but was reactivated after a UFO crashed near the warehouse where Robo-47 was being stored and the alien fuel streamed inside where it revived the robot. Robo-47 is an homage to the general design of robots in movies from the 50's and 60's. This robot boasts a powerful machine gun, hands than can morph into hammers, shields and drills, a jetpack that gives him the biggest non-flying jump in the game, and to top it off, a missile stored in its head that can level a building…and the surrounding city blocks.
Ultra V: Ultra V is the fifth version of a group of super robots designed by the Japanese to combat the creatures. But when they tried the alien fuel to power it, it went out of their control and flew out of the base. Equipped with state-of-the-art eye lasers, space-age metal, rocket firing fists (special) and an energy sword. Ultra V has a similar title to the Japanese Ultra Q from the Ultra Series, featuring Ultraman. However both his design and attacks are more reminiscent of the 'Super Robots' designed for various anime by Go Nagai.
Agamo: Agamo's massive stone structure is believed to be the work of a Aztec-like civilization. Agamo can effortlessly control the molecules binding its rock body together and create a large boulder of massive destructive capabilities. Agamo was once just a moai-like head statue buried in the ground by an ancient civilization, but a remaining native poured some of the alien fuel into its burning fires, bringing it to life. Agamo is a similar monster to that of Daimajin, also an animated statue. This was the strongest and largest monster in the game, not counting cerebulon
Magmo: A four armed golem monster made of molten rock protected by the cooling of its molten hot lava. When it unleashes its furious Volcano-inspired Special, a hail of lava and fire will come pouring from the sky. Its origin is that a UFO crashed into a volcano, bringing the magma to life.
Kineticlops. Kinecticlops are Cyclops like monsters composed of pure electrical energy surrounding a single eye. Former employees of atomic island, the alien fuel combined with the uncontrolled electricity mixed with the people to create these energy beasts. They can send their electricity across entire cities (their special)
Raptros: supposedly the pets of the zorgulon people…winged lizard like beast that breathed fire. the zorgulon experimented with their fuel on these creatures, turning them into massive versions of themselves. A raptros greatly resembled mythical dragons, and so that is the name the humans general name them. They breathe fire as their special
Zorgulon: The super soldiers of the zorgulon empire, these aliens can use two extendable arms (each with a massive club on each end) that are attached to a backpack, their laser pistol and call a small attack squad of UFOs (their special).
BOSSES
Goliath Prime – a massive robot created by the military, and the protector of Rosedale Canyon military base. It was destroyed in the game, but it was rebuilt. Goliath prime was 3 times the size of the average monster, and had an arsenal of massive grenades, and the ability to transform into various shapes (in game it was a spinning top), as well as the ability to fly using the helicopter-like rotors on each shoulder. Goliath Delta (the remake) is now only 2 times bigger than the average monster, but can now transform into many different shapes, including giant vehicles and weapons, and is also a moving base for the military, as it is large enough to store a small army inside of it.
Vegon – an enormous plantlike being that came to be through the destruction of atomic island. Vegon has grown so large that it’s tentacles cover the whole island, and its many immense Venus-fly-trap like heads reach up and snag flying vehicles out of the air. Vegan is capable of shooting many large poisonous spores from its mouths, and its tentacles drag any monster foolish enough to set foot (claw, etc) on its island to its doom. Its plans on sending its seeds across the oceans to spread its terror around the world.
Cerebulon – the leader of the zorgulon empire, and virtually immortal due its spawn-like regenerations, cerebulon is a force to be reckoned with. He is twice as large as the average monster, and its extremely fast and strong, due to the perfected monster creating chemicals that the zorgulon concocted from their fuel. Cerebulon resembles a giant brain, with multiple eyes (the large main eye in the centre), and “stands” on his slug-like body, like a snake. he boasts large mantis like claws, and a laser beam that he can shoot from his main eye. He can roll himself into a ball to move at extreme speeds. His true advantage over other monsters is his insane durability, being able to survive a spaceship crash and the destruction of both of his machine battle suit forms and still capable of holding his own against the main character, most of the time having the advantage of speed and strength. Cerebulon is back to once again wreck havoc on planet earth. Can he be stopped permanently??

I will be playing the 3 bosses in this rp (to make it slightly more fair I wont be playing as vegon directly, but its “seeds”, which are in fact monsters in their own right)…to balance things out more, the seeds will be the weakest monsters in the rp, able to be killed in only a few blows.
If you do not wish to have any of the monsters from the first game, here is a character sheet

Height: ranging from 80ft to 150 ft tall (for reference, cerebulon is 200ft, making the average 100ft)
Type: alien, monster, and machine (if machine, you can specify whether it is controlled by the military, or independent and running on its AI
Attack: fists, claws, weapons?
Projectile: each monster had a small, weak projectile they could shoot at an enemy
Special – attack: each monster in the game had 2 specials. The attack was a powerful ability that severely damaged an enemy, for example, togera’s fire breath or congar’s sonic roar
Special – defense: each monster has a special defense that created a sort defensive shockwave around themselves that knocked all enemies away, but caused very little damage. Used for beating back multiple opponents. For example, kineticlops’ electric shield, or agamo’s ground slam.

Each character can only have one 5/5 and one 4/5..every other stat must be 3/5 or below. if your monster can fly it doesn’t need a jump rating (its automatically a 3/5 for the actual jump it makes before taking flight). My characters can make exception to the rules because a. im a hypocrite (😛), and b. they are bosses.

They may resemble the ents off lord of the rings, but are in fact very evil 😛

Rules
1. NO god modding! This may sound hypocritical, as I control the 3 most powerful monsters in the game, but i will rarely use the bosses, but instead use the seeds most of the time.
2. Player characters cannot die, only get knocked out.
3. You can only create up to 3 characters in this game.
4. if I am unable to post for a certain amount of time, the rp’s plot can progress without me until I get back. I will compensate this time 😛
5. you CAN create your own character, but you must use the character sheet I provided.
6. monsters are not the only enemies, there’s the military, untouched alien ships, falling buildings, other monsters you can make up (but only control for a little while, until they are defeated).
7. I am lenient with the length of posts, but I would prefer understandable posts. No: *wAlkEd aRouND lOoKiNG FoR ENemIeS* stuff 😬
8. while monster may appear dumb, some of them really aren’t, so there’s no excuse not to use monsters
9. use the environment as your weapon, not just your fists. use steel girders as clubs, rubble, cars and oil tanks to throw at your enemies, spear enemies with radio antenna and sharp metal pipes. Be creative.

Well I've got a small idea for one, and I know I'm new but- I know how to rp and can be very literate... moving on..
Plot; In the world of Pokemon, there used to be peace between them, until trainers started taking over and ruining the peace between all the Pokemon, now, a Mewthree has awakened and wants all the Trainers dead, most agree and join his side, while others oppose his idea and side with the Trainers, after all, not all trainers are bad right? Some Trainers side with Mewthree just so he would 'spare' them, and who knows, maybe he is telling the truth maybe he isn't. Some of the trainers that had stayed with the Pokemon was granted the ability to morph into a certain Pokemon that explained that Trainers personality. Now though, Mewthree is only getting stronger and much more forces, and no one knows whose on whose side, no one can be trusted. What will become of the Pokemon world when put under pressure as is? What side are you on?
Characters; You can be whatever Pokemon you like from whatever version. And/ or a Trainer. Don't forget where going to need people who are on Mewthree's side, all parts are very significant to the rp. The Pokemon can talk to there trainers and each other, and you don't have to use real Pokemon moves if you don't want too.
Other Information;
Pokemon do die and don't get knocked out.
You can evolve and there is this stone that can make you un-evolve if that is what you wish.
