Just to list a thought on this: I SO call the recon/stealth unit within the group. Mainly because I have a tendency to disappear for a few days at a time, and recon/stealth leaves me openings that my character could be scouting for information, etc, without me having to find somewhere to pick up my wireless signal, as I stay back and forth amongst three different places currently.
Destiny Orb
Deru was a magical wasteland planet full of dying people and creatures. Until one day a giant light crashed on the planet. The light shined as bright as the sun allowing everyone on the planet to see it before the ground began swallowing it. Before the light was swallowed whole the light shot out billions of smaller lights into the air, the lights then scattered across the planet. As the small lights flew across the planet life began to grow turning the wasteland into a beautiful place. Tree's and plants flourished, rivers flowed and life was restored to the planet. The orbs landed all over the planet. One was discovered by a man named Manfred Von Karma an adventurer, strong fighter and scientist. Von Karma could feel the powerful energy from the orb, it then began to consume his mind. The power from the orb made him want more . Von Karma began experimenting on the orb trying to give it more power and each test began to affecting the creatures of Deru. The creatures of Deru began attacking people forcing them to defend themselves. The power the people possed was barley enough to hold off the creatures. They then decided to try to use the power of the orbs along with their magic and skills to defeat the creatures. The orbs powers made them stronger and allowed them to defeat the creatures. The people of Deru started making weapons that could channel the power of the orb to better defeat the creatures. A year had passed and the creatures were attacking more often until the sky turned gray and the image of a women towered over Deru. The women spoke "I am Makku goddess of Deru and keeper of the Destiny Orb the light that gave your planet light. Your world is in danger of being destroyed by a man named Manfred Von Karma,. He has created the polar equivalent of the Destiny Orb the Desolation Orb. The Desolation Orb is very powerful and dangerous I can not leave to stop him or i would put the safety of the Destiny Orb in Jeopardy. I need your best warriors to venture off and find Von Karma to save your planet and every one on it."

They board the ship Forever Night, a UNSC Ship that went M.I.A. 3 years before the appearance of the Covenant. The current year is 2552.
Creation of Character would go by their name, specialty, and detailed information of them. Ranks are deleted due to fairness and a lack of central control aside from the orders received by the Lt. Major.
For characters that would start AFTER the launch date, will be known as Spartan's that were taken aboard that were gathered from the remains of Reach.
The Team Leader of the Spartans will be decided upon evaluation of a few missions are taken on. It is a decision that will be made by each of the members of the team, this keeping the decision fair.

The Fated War: Dante vs. Stella
Exactly 100 years ago, a group of ancient, well-known mages formed the idea to create a crystal to harness a beings power and abilities. All being wise, and old, they finished creating the crystal in a week. After extreme consideration the mages decided to name the crystal, the Novalis Crystal I. The Novalis Crystal had hardly an faults and was tested with a young warrior. The young warrior showed great strength while having possession of the Novalis Crystal. He was a novice but fought like a hard-time vet. Being greedy the young warrior forced the mages to create more. Easily they could have killed him with their powerful magic, but having the Novalis Crystal, the youth proved too strong. The mages, having no other options, bent to his will and created 12 more Novalis Crystals all named by number; Novalis Crystal I - XIII.
Throughout the years these crystals have spread throughout the world, becoming in possession of many different people. War spread throughout the world over the Novalis Crystals. Whoever had the most, were the most powerful and were feared by many. It was only a matter of time before the whole world was at war with each other, friend or foe. Being a noble, wise king, Lucius, king of Dalmasca gathered all of the Novalis Crystals and hid them all over the world, in different countries and nations. On his death bed he left only two Novalis Crystals with two different neighboring kingdoms, Dalmasca, and Dalmascus. Each leader held a Novalis Crystal, Dalmasca having Novalis Crystal 7, and Dalmascus having Novalis Crystal 13. After he died, he left clues inside his abandoned palace of where to find the rest of the Novalis Crystals for anybody to find. Dalmasca and Dalmascus were the only two countries with knowledge of this so they immediately set out for the rest of the crystals.
Dalmasca, and Dalmascus have tried to talk about splitting the Novalis Crystals but the leaders of both countries were against it. They both wanted the power to be feared by all and they were not about to share that power.
The two leaders of the countries are Dante, the Warrior of the East, and Stella, the Magic Knight of the East. They both acquire exceptional fighting abilities and are an equal match, even without the crystals. Both being in possession of one crystal they are a perfect match. Both kingdoms have declared war and whoever is to find the 11 crystals first will take over the other. Lucius being as wise as he was, knew this was coming, and that is why it was the Fated War : Dante vs. Stella
The story will take place in the two main countries, Dalmasca and Dalmascus. You can make a character for either side. Just to let you know there will be specific classes that your character has, and they can only have one, but you can be creative and utilize the class' abilities to create a good character. The only characters who are equipped with Novalis Crystals are Dante and Stella. When either country acquires a crystal the leaders(Dante/Stella) will distribute them to any character they feel should receive it. You will receive a power boost, but dont god mode like a noob.
Classes
Warrior - Equips swords. Little magic use. Great speed/agility. Light armor.
Knight - Equips great-swords/axes. Little magic use. Good defense, low speed. Heavy armor.
Black Mage - Equips rods. High magic use(offensive/status). Medium speed. Uses spells and equips cloths/robes.
White Mage - Equips staves. High magic use(defensive/buffs). Medium speed. Uses spells and equips cloths/robes.
Paladin -Equips lances/swords/hammers/axes. Medium magic use(buff/holy offensive). Good speed. Light/Heavy armor and uses spells.
Magic Knight -Equips swordstaves(yes, swordstaves). High Magic use(offensive/defensive). Good speed. Equips light armors/robes, and uses spells.
Rangers - Equips guns, bows, or any ranged weapon that shoots projectiles. Little magic use. Great speed. Equips cloths.
Reaper - Equips scythes. No magic use. Ok speed. Equips robes, light armor, and heavy armor.
Ninja - Equips daggers, katanas, swords, throwing stars, gloves etc. Minimum magic use. Great speed and agility. Equips martial suits.
Samurai - Equips katanas, two-sided blades. No magic use. Great speed. Equips light armor.
Dark Knight - Equips swords. Medium magic use, sacrificial attacks. Medium speed, strong melee. Equips heavy armor.
Black Belt - Equips gloves(best with none). No magic use. Great melee and OK speed. Equips martial suits.
I will add more classes if you want to make a custom character class as long as it is not too powerful. You can create your own abilities and spells, but make sure that they match your class description.
*This RP is based heavily on Final Fantasy, so magic users, you should know what magics to use.
