As in the Detectives of the homicide division or something like that in the later 40's, and the case is a big one and there has been a demand that the police pool their resources and an entire team of detectives have been assigned, you know one division. Besides if it isn't a team, not everyone wants to play a crook or the evil protagonist lol unless they felt up to having two separate but intertwined stories.
I can be the bad guy, I'd be fine with that. If we're going to do that, we can't be a close knit team. I can imagine something like... 2 detectives, 2 police officers, 2 lawyers... Split it up a little to make sure that you're not pulling everyone into the same category and make it so they're all still a part of the justice system. The benefits to doing that aside from simplifying the work allows for everyone to play the hero in their own way. Having 3 hero detectives is bad, but having 1 hero detective, 1 hero officer, and 1 hero lawyer (or any other type of point, feel free to mix it up) would make a really pulling story and allow both the players and the people who read the roleplay to enjoy it to its max potential.
It is troll, when you post something like that.
I'm up for a Detective RP if we have differing parts to play. I'll even play the bad guy if nobody else wants to. I have no objections to what part I play provided you don't make me have to be something I don't want to be (Like a transvestite who committed doubled homicide and rape O.o).
It takes place in the United States, somewhere in the near future. After a civil war—known as the Second Civil War or the Heartland War—is fought over abortion, a compromise was reached, allowing parents to sign an order for their children between the ages of 13 and 18 years old to be unwound—taken to "harvest camps" and having their body parts harvested for later use. The reasoning was that, since 100% (actually 99.44% taking into account the appendix and "useless" organs) was required to be used, unwinds did not technically "die", because their individual body parts lived on. In addition to unwinding, parents who are unable to raise their children to age thirteen for retroactive abortion have the option to "stork" their child by leaving it on another family's porch. If they don't get caught, the "storked" baby then becomes the other family's responsibility.
Unwinding is dismembering the body. Quite awful actually.
