Personally, I'm not reading the ideas because my brain is telling me "no more long paragraphs until you wake up".
Gore so violent it makes people want to puke just from reading it - This isn't based on the RP. I could make an RP about how a shemale goes around impregnating innocent humans with alien babies that come out like some sort of a sex monster with a burst of baby juices, blood, and puss but it's not the idea that makes people sick. It's the description that the roleplayers put into their posts. Using a currently active RP to define this...

Alea loses her sanity and turns to the lieutenant with her knife gripped. She stabs it into his chest and pushes him over to watch as he dies.

Alea's eyes flicker with the loss of sanity becoming clear. They pulse.. veins showing in her eyes. With a strong grip on the knife, so tight that blood slithers out between the cracks of her fingers-- she turns to the lieutenant with a threatening glare. With a quick and strong thrust, Alea drives the knife deep into the chest of her Lieutenant; the blades piercing glance severs the flesh, splitting it apart on its trip toward the heart. The sound of his rib cracking from the impact of the knife echoes. Blood spits out of his chest like a geyser, covering Alea like a mark for her sinful deed. With her hand pressed to the knife, she pushes it forward, peeling his flesh from him as it falls to the floor... Soon followed by his whole body. *Splash* the sound of his fleshy corpse landing upon the pool of his own blood is heard by the others. Unlike his screams; choked down by the gagging of his blood gushing from up his throat.
I'm not a writer, so forgive the inexperience that you might see. Still, it's a decent example of a good detailed roleplayer vs. someone who is just posting to fill the line.
No offense, I don't dislike any of the ideas. But I don't really want to support any new ideas. I can balance more then one roleplay at a time, but I feel like if we get too many then people will stop participating in the current ones. Hazmat, Law of Oaths, and (I know this one is pushing it, but) Destiny Orb. I want to finish at least two of those and I will push and bite at people until we reach that point. After we finish two of those, I'm fine with flooding in another three or four RPs.
Thinking about it, yeah. I'm already running Hazmat, quasi-running Vampire Rp, along with probable confirmed role in the new SWGAW (which will likely be my highest priority), and Participating in an Ush Star Wars game, and a REX Retro game, in addition to my offline Role Playing activities. I'm actually pretty swamped. Thankfully some of these games aren't constantly updated, but damn if this place is getting busier I'd like to concentrate on the games we have going.
Still happy to participate in the Mass Effect-like game, just will be lower on my priority list than say- Vamp RP.
Assuming we already know how to use our Oaths, we shouldn't have a long journey to make in Law of Oaths.
Destiny Orb has been going on a while. I'm considering taking control of the character of the person who went M.I.A. so I can get past. Without Reg, we don't exactly have a "next plot point" but we can at least make sure we're ready for it.
Hazmat just began and by the looks of it, there will be a lot of time put into it.
