Sorry, have to bail on Waiting for Daylight. Don't think I can do it justice. 🙁 Will definitely be in on .hack//, though. Promise.

I'm back. Know it's been a few years, but I have an idea or two, and I need support to bring them up to life. First and foremost, my .hack// RP. It's seen a lot of people wanting to revive it. I hereby humbly ask that any and all of those people step forth if they'd like to do a RE:Boot// under the same premise as the old one, which is as follows:

The World is the first massively multi-player online RPG since Pluto's Kiss. Developed for the ALTIMIT OS, The World had a lot of media hype, resulting in over 100,000 preorders being taken in November of 2007. The World was sold online for download, and in the first day alone it sold 4,576,623 copies.

The World was created by the genius programmer Harald Hoerwick under the name Fragment. Fragment was released as a limited beta approximately nine months prior to the release of The World. The beta was stopped early for unknown reasons and The World was released shortly afterwards.

The World's storyline is based off of the Epitaph of Twilight, an epic poem by the web author Emma Wielant. In the game the world has been under attack by monsters, which has forced the forces of good to retreat into fiercly defended cities and forts. Only adventurers (represented by the players) are allowed to penetrate the magical shields around these safe havens and battle with the monsters that lurk outside. These adventurers draw their power through their mastery of waves, symbols that are inscribed onto their bodies and equipment that allow them to channel the power of the elements into their bodies in the form of magical skills and abilities.

In 2015, a fire destroyed most of The World's game data, so CC Corp quickly began work on a replacement. By splicing together the remaining data from The World with another game they were working on, they created R:2. It was released on Christmas Eve, 2015. However, fans of The World disliked the change as they were unable to transfer their character data to The World R:2, and many referred to the launch as "Goddess's Death". Despite this fact, the game goes on to sell 12 million copies, though it still falls short of its predecessor's 20 million. Adding in an in-depth story voted upon by the players, as well as RP'ers being able to control the players of their characters outside of The World.

Character classes are a bit more ranged, now, than previously, and consist of the following:

Adept Rogue
Blade Brandier
Macabre Dancer
Edge Punisher
Flick Reaper
Harvest Cleric
Lord Partizan
Shadow Warlock
Steam Gunner
Tribal Warlock
Twin Blade

There are no character levels. I have no way of fairly setting up a leveling system, and thus I cannot implement it into the RP.

The following is a list of Servers and their corresponding Root Towns in the following format SERVER//RootTown:

DELTA//MacAnu
THETA//DolDona
OMEGA//LuminaCloth
SIGMA//BregEpona

For my other one:

Waiting for Daylight

The end of days has come and gone, the war between Heaven and Hell ending in a stalemate. Since its end some six years ago, angels, demons, and all other manner of creatures have come to live peacefully among humans, disguised and hidden among them. In particular, a very special group.

The bar known as Wit's End has become known among the otherworldly as a haven, somewhere to come and go as they please, drink without having to hide. Hidden from the humans' view, it stands in the center of the city, appearing to most as though it is simply a run-down building. But those with gifts know, and frequent the establishment.

Its staff is a very rare collection:
-A Demon Waitress
-A Fallen Angel Bartender
-A Lycanthropic Guitarist and his Vampiress Wife (A Singer) <they act as the bar's entertainment>
-A Pyrokinetic Cook
-A Reaper Owner
-And A Golem Security Guard

However, fate will soon call them forth to leave their very menial day-jobs behind. Because an evil is coming; something more malevolent than any of them could ever have imagined. And they may very well be the only ones that can stand against it...

(Okay, so it's vague, let me clear a thing or two up: The evil is basically a force consistent of a combination of every big, bad, ugly creature of the night you've ever heard of, hell-bent on the destruction of any and everything they deem it necessary to destroy, as well as total world domination. Cliche? Yeah, well... it happens. I like older cliches, they make the world go 'round. Sue me.)

Any interested, in EITHER of these... Please, show your support, and let's get some good times rolling, eh?

Sorry for the double post. Gonna be playing the pyro in WfD, I think. Just thought I'd throw that out there. Well, if it gets the support to properly get it moving, that is.

I looked back and saw Starry suggest a Walking Dead rp. Not sure about taking the rp from Walking Dead, But I would LOVE to do a Zombie rp! xD And with that type of rp having SOOO many zombies it wouldnt be too much of a stretch for people to be all 'Kills zombie''Kills zombie''Kills zombie''Kills zombie''Kills zombie''Kills zombie''Kills zombie''Kills zombie''Kills zombie''Kills zombie''Kills zombie''Kills zombie' with each post. Though of course there would be time of peace where we explain other things. I think however that such an rp would be better suited for Hosted. That way the Host of the RP can have a few characters that come up with 'Emergencies' like we are running low on Food. Or we need medicine. So we would make runs into the city or something like that. Or even the Host could have a Country map and have actual cities listed with actual road names.

I can see it now.

Scarlet Fox: -Robert dashs away from the zombies towards the rally point, a small horde chasing him. He looks up to see the (Enter Street Name) and turns down the road.-

(Other Poster): ((Holy crap thats my street!))

Unlikley but still hilarious concept.

But most Zombie Style Rp's don't last too long, if you look back at past posted RP's. I like the idea myself, but with all the dead zombie RP's it's a bit worrisome.

Really missing how active these boards use to be.

Don't you say that a lot?

EDIT: also, looking at your Avatar, I kind of want to make a Mirai Nikki / Future Diary RP. Though I would much rather get the .hack RP going, lol.

I do actually. A lot of my teen/childhood I spent roleplay on these boards. A lot of them were active, so replies came really fast.

Via PM, I can account for Scarlet Fox and immaturerainbow on .hack//

That brings our standings to:

.hack//RE:Boot
myself
Ellysium
Phoenix3068
Scarlet Fox
immaturerainbow

Thanks to everyone thus far for the support. Can't wait to get this thing up and running soon.

Since you were away I doubt you saw it, but Ush said that we can start an RP when we have enough people now without having to wait. If you want to message him and ask him about it, you can. Unless I missed a post somewhere, that's still in effect and we can start it as soon as you're ready Kin.

Thats true. I was there for that post. xD

^^ I can't wait for the RP! You have no idea how excited I am about it. .hack has been like, my religion since I was in elementary school.

xD I played the games a bit but I didnt get into it that much.

Started with the anime, got into the games, then novels, then movies xD Don't worry, I'll take care of you Fox. Just tell me if you want help with the CS.

... giggity?

Alright xD

Hazmat: Downfall

An infection- a contagion, created in a lab from the DNA of an alien being captured by the U.S. government. They thought it could be a cure to all human ailments and at the very least extend the lives of thoose who were tested. Initial results were promising until the scientists died and their body's disappeared. A day later communications with most of the city had gone dark- the U.S. military responded with the same lethality as before sending in Hazmat Teams' Alpha, Delta and Reclaimer. These elite professionals failed to control the outbreak of infected creatures, and even so the infection had already spread further than anyone could have imagined. And while these heros fought bravely the United States was overrun. The military had responded far too slowly, and by the time the infection had breached the city limits it was already too late.

Emergency Broadcasting System : "This is the Emergency Broadcast System. If you are listening to this broadcast, you are a survivor to the Delta Contagion; it is time for an update. Mass evacuations by the military have been reported in all the major coastal cities, towns, major airports, and military installations, and the military have set-up perimeters to keep back infected. The borders between Mexico, and the U.S. have been closed and it is advised survivors avoid border states if at all possible, the Mexican Army will shoot U.S. Citizens on sight. Again you are advised that you make your way to a coastal city, town, or your nearest military installation for evacuation. If you come across any military personnel, or law enforcement officer, follow their direction. The following states cities and towns have now been reported as dark; Houston, Texas. Austin, Ne..."

Hazmat Downfall will follow a group of survivors as they band together and try to survive in a place where the enemy is evolving, and the environments are not always going to be your ally.

Two Hazmat Operatives, part of Haz-team Alpha, have escaped the Normandy's destruction, and battered and bruised, they have made their way to a near-by town on the out-skirts of a city. With their Hazmat suits having protected them from the fusion engines nuclear detonation. With their busted Hum-vee near the end of it's life, they abandon it and make their way in on foot...

You can play as a civilian, lost marine, paramedic, police officer, fireman, electrician, chopper pilot- basically anyone you'd want to play as realistically that would be there. Be realistic also- incredible feats are allowed but don't go too nuts.

You ask for Zombies, this one has the added bonus of not having too-major of a lead in like the one people went for, and also a pre-existing world. And unlike the main series of Hazmat, this one is more about surviving the apocalypse than defeating it, like any good spin-off. This game is also unrelated to the 'Hazmat: the Delta Contagion' game currently running,in the way that it is set in the old Hazmat world, and that one was an attempted reboot of the series.

I could also add in some of that stuff ya mentioned.

Mass Effect RP - Final Check

I have a lot to do since I'm helping out with the .hack RP, waiting for the Teen Titans RP and Hazmat RP, but I didn't forget about the Mass Effect RP.

If anyone wants to drop out, tell me now. Is this list right? If so, I'll post the thread 1 day after I have confirmation. I'm checking now because Xan's inactive, Jedi's around but I don't know if he's still active, I haven't heard from Unbias3d, and I don't know if Fox is still interested.

A big 10-4 from Unbias3d and myself.

Elysium -- Our last Hope

It is the year 2075, Earth's last days are in sight, as a Neutron star speeds it's way towards our sun, and Earth's definite destruction. A last desperate act of the organized governments of the world, a 'world-unified' effort to build a ship to travel to a new world and save the human species. Scientists have discovered several near-by systems and believe the probability of Earth-like conditions will exist - named Pandorum, are high. The journey will take several life-times, and they have no-idea what dangers they will face out there in deep space. Martial Law is declared as the project named 'Elysium' nears it's completion and people are medically tested and chosen to go. 175,000 people from a diverse genetic background, with a wide range of skills and training, including military and governmental figures from various nations are hand picked. The crew are ready, trained and awaiting the passengers. Gravitic-Habitat ring is rotating. Hyper-sleep chambers are ready. The ship is built, and carries with it the history and spirit of the human condition. They would arrive at their destination in roughly 75-100 years.

Only... do they make it? Deep space can have an unusual effect on the human condition. Or do they find other life out in the void? Are they ready for what awaits them on Pandorum.

Inspired by:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pandorum - The Film Pandorum, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=95n9BclgBUM - and this you tube video, and the video game, Dead Space.

can happily make it more Star Trek like, if people prefer... ha.

Not sure exactly how this game will work, but I'll probably need help to iron out details like that. We'll likely be playing the crew/passengers as they awaken from their hypersleep chambers to discover the ship seemingly dark, and empty.
