Metal Gear - Ghosts of the Fox
With a theme like Metal Gear there isn't much to work on for an RP because even the game is so straight forward, that it really doesn't leave much room to make it larger. It usually sets an objective from the begining and leads you to it without any distraction in between. But we'll try to make it different. Since Dynasty Wars wasn't too apealing to the general RP comunity. I've decided to do this one. All of you are much invited to join this. So here goes...
There is a secret Facility in the South Pole. A massive U.S. weapons research facility devoted entirely to the manufacture and testing of Metal Gear. The Department of Defense claims to have no knowledge of this facility, even though the Crates and equipment sent to the compound are stamped with the DoD seal. NSA agents and several other Marine core opperatives guard this facility. It has been succesfuly kept underground from the media and the public. But that it all endangered now...
A rebel group of terrorist calling themselves 'Ghosts of FOXDIE' have infiltrated the installation and sealed Metal Gear. They have demanded nothing yet but have threatened to launch Nuclear Weapons on key elements of the UN. Solid Snake is no longer an operative of the US Military and can not locate him. It is up to a highly trained team of operatives to handle the situation as quietly as they can. This new team is the New FOXDIE.
What the Department of Defense doesn't know is that Solid Snake and Doctor Hal Emmerich have an organization to expose Metal Gear to the world and have launched an operation as well. The Mission Director is Meryl Silverburgh and the Gene Therapyst is Doctor Naomi Hunter who joined Snake after the Shadow Moses incident. And as Data Analyst is OTACON (Hal Emmerich). As always the mission operative is Solid Snake. (So in the story you might encounter him and even you might be able to control him at some point)
The New FOXDIE is led by Roy Campbell. Gene Therapyst is Doctor Maya Serwing. Data Analyst: Mei Ling. Since the Installation is big and unfit for only one man infiltration, several members from the team have been called to go in.
OK...Keep in mind that FOXDIE members had one thing they were the best at.
So for the RP I'll need an explosives specialist, a Sniper, a Master of Disguise, an unusually strong character, a hand gun specialist, and an infiltration Expert (like good old snakey). (Note: The character can be the team specialist in his area but he or she is not limited to this specialty...in the character sheet you can also specify what other stuff he is good at.)
The members of the Terrorist group will be revealed as the RP goes along or you can post in this OCC thread your ideas for villains and stuff that you would have liked to see in the Metal Gear Games.
Oh and remember that some of the bad guys from the game had what could be considered godmode abilities. You are limited to state only one godmode like ability. (Fortune couldn't get hit by bullets) But you must give a very good reason why the character is blessed with this god like ability...a very... very good reason.
And just so you know...you cannot under any circumstances be Solid Snake so don't ask....sorry but have to say it..
The Judgment of Celestial
----Paladins----
A Paladin is a warrior of light and a guardian of truth and justice. Most paladins are given masters in their teenage years so their training can be watched over more so the student may learn all he/she needs. Paladins use celestial energy to give them their usage of powers and increase of strength, speed, and jumping abilities. Paladins all use special weapons called Cielo Sabers made from a Cielo Crystal which is a blue crystal which is basically unbreakable and can cut through almost anything. Paladins do not receive a Cielo Saber until they are chosen to continue their training by the paladin council. Further a paladin that disobeys the orders of the Paladin Code will be executed to prevent the rise of the dark paladins, the reapers, which they haven’t been around for nearly a thousand years.

You will be a paladin at the Paladin Temple of Ethian. You will start between the ages of thirteen and fifteen and will have to complete the finals to be granted a master to continue your training. You will be taught how to harness celestial energy and perform great feats with them.

A catlon can only be a woman. Catlons resemble human women expect they have cat like ears and cat like tails. They are more agile then the basic humans but their physical strength isn’t as well. Catlons can see well in the dark.
Ok i know i knoqw my ideas havent worked that well but look heres an idea i put together for awhile. Its an RP were all the type of characters known as any type of people from Heores, Villains, Creatures, Neautral, ECT you could be any. This is the RP were legend are born and were legends die. iight so this is how its gonna work, You first gotta post youre character in the registration thread. It could be a real her, villain, or wuteva or a Created Character

heres the story
many years before you and me in the year 1000 four races shared the planet equaly they are the human race the orc race the night elf race and the undead race and since the begining off time the four races have been at war until today when the human and night elf races joined forces to take down the orc race then out of no wher in the middle of the battle for rain the end was near and suddenly the sky went puer blake and fire rained from the skyfollowed bye green balls that wher the size of meteors hundreds fell as every one stared in aw then the ground began to rumble and the orces fled "wher are thoughs cowerds going"
the head general gha'iha called then thousends of what look like rock golums burst from the ground but thes wher no ordenary rock golums this one seemed to be surrounded bye the green fire that was seen on the meteors and thust the burning legion was finnaly revield
