if you're a musician or an artist, this will be worth a look

after seeing motley crue in concert, i've been following the movie, disaster, they showed clips of at the show. the clips were hilarious, and being a huge fan of celebrity deathmatch, i've been looking for news about the movie's release.

anyway, the movie is sponsering two contests that sound like an amazing opportunity for musicians and artists trying to get themselves out there

for the first one, all you have to do is get your band together, cover a crue song, record it on an mp3, and send it in. the grand prize is a spot on the disaster soundtrack

the second one involves creating a comic strip with the disaster characters. the winner's artwork will be used as the soundtrack's coverart and as the dvd's cover.

What does the "d" stand for? Diet?

It looks like they deleted the field in your profile that says, "Threads started." If they still had it, you would see that J.C. (ahem, by that I mean Jimmy Cokes, not Jesus Christ himself) has about as many threads started as total posts.

And almost all have a low number of total replies.
