Well, my mum (and just about all my close relatives) are first-generation Scottish immigrants, so I'd say I'm of Scottish descent. I do hope to eventually move there myself.

Well, they're from Dundee, (or Scumdee, as it was recently called during a trip my mum took to Edinburgh). 😛

The three places I'd probably end up living in are: 1) Dundee, 'cause I have an absolute wealth of family there; 2) Edinburgh; or 3) somewhere in England.

Honestly, she was at a pub, and someone asked her where she was born, and after hearing "Dundee," they called it "Scumdee"....

I could also move to Ireland, (specifically Dublin), since I'd have family there on my dad's side....but I don't really have any inclination to be bombed by the I.R.A., so....

you sure? never know until you try. for all you know bombing could be a pleasant experience for you

Hi all just wanted to say i saw peter jacksons King Kong for the first time today . Its abit long but very good great work mr jackson

I agree, I though King Kong was an excellent film - a sentiment that few of my family and friends share. I think they disliked what they call "Jack Black's overacting," but I'm fairly certain that was the point - it's a remake of a cheesy movie, so it was designed to be somewhat cheesy in turn.

yeah, considering the past attempts at it, PJ's version is amazing. course it's amazing even without having to compare it to the previous ones

It's certainly the only King Kong movie that has successfully made me feel compassion for the gigantic ape. 🙂

Dundee's Fat Sam's has been getting loads of good gigs going...so for that reason i say you stay there 😛
