need a bit of help guys, was wondering if you could give us a link to a place which translate english into elvish.

at some stage in my life if I ever have a child I would like to get it tattooed in Elvish. if it helps the names will either be JAMES or MADELINE

There's Didier Willis' "Sindarin Dictionary Project," but that does single words only....

I'd suggest checking out Fauskanger's "Ardalambion," where there is extensive info. on the Elvish-languages. There's also an essay on real world-to-Elvish names here and a baby-name book here. 😉

"James" is unfavourably translated, IMHO. "Madeline" is under "Magdalene," and doesn't really sound attractive, IMHO.

Well, there's this, (which I've never used), and other similar transcription tools. I'd suggest going here and downloading the PDF/Word files that document the different tengwar modes and how to transcribe/write with them, (which is what I did).

I'd use the e-mail function. It would be a more sound way of trying to reach her.
