How was Onslaught able to hurt Juggernaut?

I thought Juggernaut was completely invincible

but in the oslaught Saga, I believe that Onslaught knocked him across the US in one punch which made him unconscious

also later in the saga, Onslaught literally ripped the gem out of Juggernaut's chest (dont say that this was not in continuity cuz the onslught saga is too big for the writers to take lightly)

The same way Storm killed Hulk with one blast during th Onslaught Saga.

Really bad and rushed writing.

But, seeing that Onslaught didn't even have a physical body when he supposedly K.O'd Jugs, it may have all been in Jug's mind. And we all know jug's mind is very very weak.

That's more than likely the actual story.
