but, the native in me was due to massive herding and hiding from the white man pale face to mexican pueblos where they stayed relatively save from genocide from american Calvary but they lost their language and many costumes and mixed with the mexican indians of the town and adopted some spanaird customs.
it was a native melding pot. my family has some customs from various tribes but are not recognized as natives only as mexican even by native americans with the same exact culture and customs as us .
even had some native dude once tell me i wasnt native and my anscetors were cowards for running to mexico.. he was navajo and shoshoni or washoe..
