"Hermione, I can't stand this. I need to be able to talk to him, I just need to be at least his friend."
"Ginny, you have to talk to him about last night."
"I know...I just don't know how to do it."
"Put your brave face on and tell him straight out how you feel." Hermione looked you dead in the eye. "That's the only way this will work out."
"Right..."

Half an hour later, you still hadn't said anything to him. Well, you didn't want to interrupt his game of chess, right?
"Checkmate!"
"What?! But.." Ron was totally shocked. He looked like had been winning, but Harry's pawn had his king surrounded with no way out. The king dropped it's sword and Harry had won.
"Another game..."
You just sat there, watching them playing again. How were you going to do this?
You sat there, staring at Harry. He was kind. He was brave. He was cute. He was thoughtful. It wasn't fair!
You looked at his dark green eyes which were scanning the board and full of thought. You looked at his black hair, all messy. He ran a hand through it as Ron made it difficult for him to move. You stared at his pale skin. He never seemed to get a tan. You liked him that way. You reflected your past with him, without him, and wondered what lay ahead for him. You realised that he might die. You knew it before, but it hit you like a rock now. If he died, what would you do?
As you sat there, thinking about all this, you realised, slowly, you were in love with him. You couldn't move. You couldn't speak. If Hermione hadn't nudged you, you would have forgotten to breathe.
"What's wrong?" Hermione asked you, confused.
"I have to get out of here," you murmered. You jumped up and ran to your room.
How could this have happened? you thought as you sat on your bed, your head in your hands. This was big. This was too big. You weren't even out of school...love was too big, too soon.
"Ginny?" it was Harry. Oh, God. Not him, not now...
"Can I come in?"
You didn't answer. He came in anyway.
"What's wrong?" He sat next to you on the bed. You could feel his eyes on yours, but you wouldn't look at him. You looked at your shoes.
"Ginny, seriously. Hermione thinks something serious has happened. She's hyperventilating." You smiled a little. You looked up into his face. It was filled with concern, emotion. There was a look in his eye that you couldn't explain...it was like he wasn't completed, or something.
"Harry...Harry, I..."
"What?"
"I think...I think I love you."
"I think...I think I love you." you whispered. There. You had said it. You waited for him to jump up and run away from you, but he didn't.
"I love you too, Ginny." He pulled up your chin, gently, and looked into your eyes. "Ginevra Molly Weasley, I love you." Harry held you in his arms as tears splashed down your face. You were so happy! It had finally happened!
"D-does this mean you'll take me back?"
"Are you an idiot?" he laughed, and French kissed you right then and there.
"That's a no, then," you pulled away from him, grinning.
"Of course," he smiled, and went right back to kissing you.

Time sped through August. You and Harry were officially back on, and, although Ron didn't love it too much, you were inseperable. Soon enough, it was 10pm on the 30th August. You were leaving for Hogwarts the next day.
"Where are you gonna stay for the nights?" you asked Ron and Harry.
"We were thinking of asking McGonagal if we could stay at Hogwarts for the first few weeks, and use the library during your lessons, then hiding again at daytime, so nobody thinks anything weird's going on." Harry explained, pulling you closer to him, like he didn't want to let go. He still wouldn't let you come, even though you were going out with each other again.
"Really? Big change of plan then...where abouts would you stay?" you said.
"Oh, I know a certain girl's dorm I wouldn't mind staying in," Harry grinned. Ron practically choked on the pumpkin juice he was drinking. It was coming out of his nose.
"Ron! That's discusting!" you cried.
"So was that!" he spluttered.
"Joke," you said, rolling your eyes.
As Ron continued to cough like mad, and Hermione hit his back for him, you and Harry talked about what he was going to do while you were at school.
He planned to reasearch everything about him, everyone to do with him, and track down his past hideouts. He was going to start with The tiny house he had seen behind the Riddle House, when he had went saw the memory with Dumbledore. You wished him luck, and kissed him. Ron had finished nearly dying, and the four of you joked and talked about nothing for an hour and a half.
"We have to get up at seven tomorrow, let's get some sleep." Harry decided at 11:30pm. Hermione and Ron went to their seperate rooms, but Harry held back.
"I just want you to know that whatever happens, I'm only an owl away. Here, this mirror is what my dad and Sirius used to use when they were friends...I fixed it up, so we can use it." he handed you a mirror wrapped in brown tissue paper. "Night, Gin." He kissed the top of your head and walked out. You felt drowsy with love, like you did every time he kissed you. You put the mirror in a drawer, and fell asleep instantly.

"GET UP!! GET UP!!" your mum's words rang through the house.
"I'm up, I'm up," you murmered as someone shook you.
"Ginny!!" Harry was shaking you.
"I'm awake already!" you said, a little louder.
"You've slept in, it's eight o' clock!"
That woke you up. Thank God you'd had the sense to pack early, last night.
