"You are so boy mad," Mutia laughed. She couldn't have been more right.
The door swung open and a voice said "Enter."
"Pretty spooky..." you muttered, taking a seat in the middle of the class; a bench with four stools around it, one for you, one for Hannah, one for Mutia and one for...
"Um, hi. I'm Elisa. Can I sit here?" asked a short girl you knew was in Hufflepuff. She had deep amber eyes, flecked with muddy brown. Her hair was short and layered, just touching the back of her neck, and out of her face. She had a butterfly clip holding back her bangs; yellow, to match the stitching on her robes.
"Sure." Hannah moved her bag, so Elisa could sit down.
You leaned forward so you could see her.
"How are you?"
"I'm fine, thanks," she smiled shyly, putting her things on her desk, and fiddling with her gold earring.
A low growl emmited from the front of the class.
A hush swept over the class like the wind.
"Oh, my, God..." Mutia breathed. Hannah said nothing. She seemed incapibal of movement.
The animal that was at the front of the class looked like a cross between a lion, a wolf and some breed of dog. As it was prowling down the aisle silently, you felt Hannah stiffen beside you. You caught a glimpse at her face; sheer terror shone in her large eyes. They were following the beast as it walked back to the front. It paced back and forth, as if waiting for something.
Someone took out their wand, as if to protect whoever it was, if the animal made a move on him/her.
The creature's gaze snapped to the person who had taken out their wand. The rest of the class followed the gaze to a boy with sand coloured, slightly long hair. David Rightman. Long, sharp teeth bared at him, and the animal made a move as it was about to pounce, and -
"Stupefy!!"
The monster jumped out of the way, and...
You let out a deep sigh of relief, along with most of the class, when Professor Tahmores emerged from the beast that had been about to pounce.
"Very good, Mr..."
"David Rightman, Sir."
"Very good, David. I was not, of course, about to kill you. That would have been...ridiculus, to say the least. I wanted to see how you would react. So far, I beleive, you have had some teachers who have not proved the best of people. First you had Proffessor Lockhart. What a success he was. Then you had Proffessor Lupin, who was a good teacher, but left at the end of the year, since it got out that the man was a werewolf. Then there was Mad Eye Moody, who was here for a year, but was somebody else; Barty Crouch Junior, on Polyjuice Potion. Then there was Umbridge, a cold hearted cow-" everyone snorted with laughter at the sound of a teacher calling another (even if she wasn't a teacher any more) a cow, "- who wanted nothing more but to have the Ministry take over Hogwarts. Last year, you had Severus Snape. Now, you have me. I will be teaching you a range of different things to do with defending yourself, the Dark Arts, and magical creatures you need to be aware of."
You raised your hand.
"Miss Weasley?"
"How long will you be teaching us for?" you said, after a moment; you were suprised he knew your name.
"One year."
"Is it just me, or do all of our teachers stay for only one year?" you wrote and passed to Hannah.
"It's not just you." she scribbled back.
"Any more questions? Ok, good. Open your books to page 127."
that was good but it wasnt very like exciting though. Like, i like the Tahmores thing that was ok but the rest was kinda low key. But it was good description. I was wondering if you could help me with something. Like im stuck on a part of my story if you could read my story and then pm what you think i should say next.
