Isn`t it fishy that...

..the first three books were very optimistic, full of situations that worked in the hero`s advantage, while the bad guy lost, when in book 4 somebody suddenly dies? I mean, fine, it`s Voldy`s revival, it`s supposed to get grim, but then come books 5 & 6 when we lose Sirius (sob) and Dumbedore (of all pple)! How did it become so dark, so suddenly? If you remember, the first three books have been published before the movies, so (I`m just saying) could JKR have gotten some influence fom somebody that has to do with the movie industry?

Nope. She planned the entire series, including the deaths, before she even started writing PS.

Not fishy. Harry grows up. Things get more heated. Simple as that.

Its not fishy at all. If she had continued the way of the three books, the Harry Potter books would have been forgotten. Do you think that someone will read Harry Potter in 1, 15 years if Dumbledore and Seriuse didn't die? Like this (I loved and still do Dumbledore) have all the elements: Tragedy, love, hate, betrayal...
