i don't have much knowledge of horror movies, have only seen a ew, including dawn of the dead, IT and a resident evil but I want to know which movies you guys think is the most scary of all times?

Try the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, You'll hear alot of people say the Exersim( Can't spell for shit). You might want to ask aronud more for other suggeestions. I wouldn't go for any of the slasher flics. THe only one would be the original Nightmare on Elm Street and if you like Nastolgia, Halloween. Don't get Scream, that movie sucks.
