Angel looked at her as he recieved the bloody ripped paper in her own words, " I Promise. " Angel looked at her intently still in a serious face. " I trust you. *Kitsune smiled and snatched the empty vial from his hand, placing it back with all of her herbs and medical tools* I could tell you why it tastes so nasty but after that you may just fall a tad bit iller *She smiled and pulled the covers over his shoulders* rest now, i shall bring you the orb soon *She walked out of the room, closing the door behind her. She needed to find that orb, she knew just where to look as well, as long as she could stay clear of the others, it was smooth sailing. She shifted into her fox form and silently creapt out of the Inn, vanishing into the shadows and towards her destination*

Apothis turned and followed Kistune into he woods, stepping lightly, and making no sound. When he caught up to her he spoke without warning, "You shouldn't be wandering alone."

He looked at Kitsune and forced a smile. Angel obviously knew something would go wrong, if he regains his strength he will follow her. Before someone else follows her, Angel got up slowly. Not showing any pain at all, obviously he was screaming his head with pain, he quickly grabbed a shirt and put it on. Not caring to button it, he muttered in pain and then grabbed his sword. Slowly sheathing it to his left hip, Angel slowly went downstairs. Ignoring the inhabitants in the inn, He then went outside and then held his ribs on his left side. Obviously Angel wasn't fully healed, or half healed. He was still in weak condition, but he knew Kitsune wouldn't make it since D'kai's minions are all over the place and who knows if that demon lord he earlier on met was going to find the orb. Angel went towards the stables slowly, limping his towards it. Angel grabbed a horse and it was hard for him to get on it since he was weakened. Then he finally got up and Angel, galloped off in the woods, Knowing Kitsune didn't go that far since she just left. Suddenly he heard someone talking and noticed the fox like creature. It's Kitsune.. Angel thought and noticed that Apothis was there, but how? He was dead.. He then unsheathed his sword quietly, waiting for the right moment to strike Apothis. Suddenly he quietly walked towards him and swung the sword to his neck. But then there was a pain going throughout his ribs, suddenly he fell down on one knee. Slashing the leg of Apothis, noticed a red thin line appeared, and blood dripped down his legs.

*Kitsune almost leapt five good feet off the ground. She spun around to face Apothis and snarled and spat at him like a normal fox would before darting off into the bushes. She sniffed the air and caught Angel's scent but ignored it and dashed off again, her thin body moving like liquid through the forest and undergrowth. Her paws slapped the ground and her tiny claws made silent scratches on the forest floor. She let the fox take over awhile, she looked almost like a perfectly normal fox. To make the act more believable she spotted a mouse burrow. She waited patiently outside the hole and when the mouse came out Kitsune's body lurched forward. She pounced on the tiny creature and her small, yet dagger like fangs sliced through its fur and skin and pierced its small heart. She began to feed on the mouse, knowing that if any of the people that knew her came along, she'd be looking perfectly normal as far as a fox would be*

Apothis spun, lightning thundering at his finger tips, he sent an arc towards his attacker, too late he realized it was Angel. He cursed and teleported beside him knocking him out of the way. "Thanks you bastard." He said blood was pouring out of his leg in torents. He slammed a fist into Angels chest before vanishing again in an arc of lightning, leaving Angel soaked with his blood. He reappared beside Kistune, "Wait I'm not-" His leg gave way, and he collapsed, he realized his artery had been sliced open. He closed his eyes and breathed out slowly, "And when you do your friends will never know and you will be betrayed. And when it happens another will come, and none will know who truly is a friend and who is a traitor. D'kai may have a;ready won." He reopened his eyes. "You wont take me again."

His memories began to surface, I believe, I wont let you fall, I'll build your trust and it wont hurt all. A crimson bond, and the flame of valor, spill the blood. Truth his hidden....seek it out. Time works as an enemy. I believe."

He screamed in agony, as he felt a thundershock going through his body. Suddenly the man appeared beside him and smash his fist into his chest, He spit blood on the floor. Angel stood there by the tree, blood in his mouth. He laughed weakly, " Fools, once I get the orb. I will you Apothis. " He lowered his head, blood started appearing from his chest. Angel was now so weak, he couldn't move. Obviously Angel was now paralyzed perminately unless he finds the orb to give him incredible strength and power.

*Kitsune looked at Apothis and whimpered. She forgot about her act and dashed over to her friend, nudging him with her nose to get up. She licked his cheek, trying to encourage him to stand. Her fox nose twitched to the smell of heavy blood. She began to lick his leg as fast as she could, trying to clot the blood. She shifted into her human form and ripped off part of her pant's leg. She placed it upon Apothis's wound and applied pressure to it. She then took a vine and tied it around the cloth as tight as she could make it. She looked at Apothis and her eyes told him two words "Hang on". She heard the scream of agony and ran towards Angel* what's wrong? Are you alright?

Apothis eyes snapped gold, he realized what was happening. He spoke, his eyes instantly fading to electric blue, but they blazed brightly, hit voice had a second installment, it was deep and serene. "The thunder god Altor enlisted Raiden to protect the realms, Raiden enlisted me to protect my friends. But how can I do that when one wants to kill me?" He appeared beside Angel, but his sword was raised. It was defensive, not offensive. He still leaned heavily on his good leg.

He looked at Kitsune and pushed her out of his way. Slowly getting up, he has the urge to scream but didn't He stood face-to-face with Apothis. Clenching his fists tightly, waiting for him to be killed. " You are not my friend, you're pathetic. " He looked at him, as he was ready to hit him. Obviously Apothis had an advantage on taking him down without lifting a finger. He was far more powerful then him, and can take him down without ease. Angel growled at him, staring into his blazed blue eyes. He was full of hatred, his light green blue eyes staring into Apothis. His head was black, as the darkness. He wanted to kill everyone here, he wanted power. Angel's deep disire would soon to coome, if he was spared right now. " Well, go ahead kill me. You are nothing but D'kai himself if you kill me. You will be just like him, killing people for a small minor wound that does not even affect you. " He growled lightly, waiting for him to do something.

*Kitsune was confused why Angel had pushed her away. Why had he called Apothis pathetic? Unless... "HE JUST WANTS TO USE THE ORB FOR HIS OWN BENIFIT!!!! She bit her lower lip and clenched her hands into a tight fist. She dashed between them and sent them both glares* Dont fight! Stop it right now!!! *She gave Angel a look that said "If you hurt him I will refuse your offer and you can retrieve the orb yourself"*

"If I were a normal man I would be dead now. And I will not attack you while you are weak and unarmed niether would I attak you from behind. I will wait until you are healed Angel then we shall decide your fate." Apothis sheathed his sword. He placed himself in font of Kistune, he didn't know Angels mind. "You have tried to kill me more than once Angel, next time I will not be so generous to spare your life."

He looked at Kitsune and glared at her. " I already knew you were not going to retrieve it. I will retrieve it myself! " Angel shouted as he looked back at Apothis glaring at him. Ready to punch him, " We? What do you mean we decide you're fate. " He was full of anger and hate now, " You do not decide my FATE, My Life! I decide it! " He shouted in anger and in a serious voice. He looked at him and then pushed him out of the way, limping weakly towards his destination.

Apothis didn't turn. "If I kill you, It will be I who decides your fate...not you. Your not getting that orb Angel. I wont stop you, its your choice. But when you do...you will have decided your fate, I'll just carry it out."

He looked at Apothis and glared at him, suddenly he looked back at Kitsune and then walked away. Limping slowly in the forest, slowly dissapearing in the forest. He was walking for about 30 minutes now, knowing he is closer to the castle. After that, he will kill Apothis then Kitsune. He will be more powerful then Apothis ever emagined and thought the orb was much weaker then he suspected. But it wasn't, it was far more powerful then anyone can handle. And if Angel didn't handle it well, he will be consumed in power and die.

I may not be able to stop you...but Raiden will. Apothis didn't turn to look at Kistune when he spoke, "I'm sorry." He turned to leave.

David looked around and noticed some where missing.. He shook his head.. "They better be back untill tomorrow morning" he said and layed down on the floor, close to a wall..

D'kai smiled.. "Dont you realise I can take you both?" he said and laughed trough the opening. He stopped quickly.. "The orb" he said quiet and smiled.. they knew where it where, and he knew where they were. Just to wait, he thought and smiled.

*Kitsune ducked under Apothis's arm and supported his weight so he could walk on his good leg. She knew her life was in terrible danger but she would never desert one of her friends. She looked at Apothis with tears in her eyes* are you going to be alright? *She looked at his leg with concern*

"If I don't bleed to death I'll survie..I hope." Apothis was using his sword as support now..he'd lost alot of his blood. "Where are we going? And who the hell are you?" He asked, his eyes looked sorta dazed.
