I would have to say ESB Luke too, partially because of how stupid Anakin is.

You do come off to me as being waaay too much in Luke's corner in most debates, and you overestimate his talents a lot.

Mech Vader may have more knowledge and durability than hsi younger counterpart, but he would not beat AOTC Anakin straight out for reasons repeated MANY times. And saying ESB Luke could compete with Vader was ridiculous. Vader wasn't ever trying to kill Luke. The one time he lost his temper and struck out off went Luke's hand, in one quick move!

And comparing how long Anakin laid on the ground compared ot how long Luke did is silly when you consider the situations for both:

- AOTC Anakin had just fought a much more heated battle than Luke had. He was shocked by Force lightning, knocked into a wall, and then had his arm severed off at the elbow and Force shoved again into a wall.

- Luke was battered a bit from flying objects and then when he snapped a hit on Vader got his hand lopped off. He fell back on his own, and edged backwards on the ledge. He was looking pretty worn to me.

And saying Anakin is so stupid he would lose to Luke is you severely underestimating Anakin. Take a look at what Anakin did just in AOTC alone. You honestly think Luke would have had the wits, intelligence, and skill to pull half of that off? If you do, you're dying in a lake of fanboyism, because Luke ISN'T that good, and this fight is lopsided, in Anakin's favor by far.

Anakin would pwn his son. More experience, more training, more jedi discipline, and a much better saber duelist. Luke had no idea what the hell he was doing and was extremely clumsy and foolish. Anakin did much more in AOTC than Luke could ever dream of doing.

lol luke had two weaks of training and was completely useless anakin would tear him apart.

Luke could barely hold his own against his legless-armless Father.

What do you think his Father is gonna do to him when he has his Arms and legs and is in his prime with Jedi Training since he was a youngling?

i actually think darth vader was a lot more powerful than aotc anakin but thats neither here nor there, luke just doesnt have enough training to compete with him.

Anakin has more potential. He has had more training as well. Put 2 and 2 together and it's gotta be Anakin.

Okay, Luke stood up to Vader, did he? I got news for you; it wasn't a fair fight, since Luke wanted nothing more than to kill Vader and Vader had no intentions of killing or even hurting Luke.

In ESB Vader's just a bit stronger than Anakin is in AOTC. Anakin's faster in AOTC but that's his only advantage on ESB Vader.

It would be kinda close, but Anakin did as well against Tyranus then Luke could have done against Vader had Vader been trying as hard as he could and Tyranus is stronger than ESB Vader.

Anakin's faster, stronger, a better dueler, stronger in pure Force ability... the only thing Luke has on Anakin is brains, and not alot.
