Then he killed more jedi masters. He would of kicked ass in ROTS but MACE WINDU force crushed Grevious, damaging him and his organs. THATS WHY HE RAN IN ROTS! Its like Handicapped Grevious Vs Full Healthy Obi-Wan! If Obi-Wan met Grevious in Clone Wars, guess what? Obi-Wan is OWNED! PWNED!

In LOE, the General is said to need the elements of surprise, fear, and intimidation on his side in order win the majority of his victories. Without any of these, Grievous fell.

General Grievous turned craven after his battle with Mace Windu. Before hand, he wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty. Let's face it, none of his opponents could compete with his reflexes, agility, or overall physical strength. But Mace was the superior duelist and had a potent mastery of the Force. Grievous uses an ambigious style where he swings his blades at near-light speed and hopes to hit something.
Obi-Wan won because he was the better duelist, a Force-user, and patient. As shown in the brawl, he certainly had no chance in hand-to-hand combat or anything similar - but when dealing with weapons - Grievous was defeated.
Do you SERIOUSLY consider Gendy Tartivoski's work to be true? Meh, I don't believe a single thing in those Clone Wars shows. Obi-Wan destroyed Grevious because he is, as stated, patient, smart, and a great duelest. I only believe EU that is as it's own. Like KOTOR. And while we're on this kinda thing, I choose KOTOR's Kashyyyk to ROTS's Kashyyyk. The wookiees live in the tree tops, there are no beaches, they don't come down from the trees. The whole planet is one big forest, and anything below the tree dwellings is the Shadowlands. Tho in time, things could have changed, but KOTOR is still more Canon. (Sorry Nac, know how much you hate that word ^.-)
