Hell No, It was horrible. Sad really. But eh, We'll always Have the Black Album, Master of Puppets and Ride the Lightning

Yeah, quite the tragedy....
Actually, very few of the oldschool metal gods are still around in full effect, leaving us stuck with to much of the new poppy crap and only a couple of real good bands to counter that.
Only a few bands like Iron Maiden and AC/DC survived all the way, the rest suffered deaths in the ranks (AC/DC aswell come to speak, but Johnson is a ok substitute for Scott) or took a wrong turn. But Black Sabbath came back to life, that's nice.
Take me back to the mid 80's concerning music anyhow
