Christian Poetry

Any Christian poets out there???? Probably not much but here is something my friend wrote:

WHITE-

White so pure, white so clean,

not worthy of this perfect thing.

My life is filled with pain and hurt,

from wounds flow mingled blood and dirt,

kicked to the ground, drowning in mud,

created by the mix of dirt, tears and blood.

From swollen eyes and tear streaked face,

I see the light of perfect grace.

Dripping from head to toe, washed with

blood I'm as white as snow.

You lift me up, wrapping me tight,

in Your robe of soft clean white.

Your beauty shines into my soul, forgiving,

healing, making me whole.

As You shine throughout my life, we

watch the dark and gloom take flight.

Now that I am filled with light,

there in no room for black, just White.

I write some too, I don't have the time to write it down now, but I will later

hahaha yeah, some christians here. can't always tell by my writings, which is my humanity taking over... nice to see a fellow servant though. good poem. hahah and FIF! sweet tunes. hahah!

Sounds like a KKK enrollment chant. Utterly disgusting.

Very nice.

be a schweinhund somewhere else. please.

Uff da! Hey, it's me again (its sorta been a WHILE), but here is a poem from me. Now, before you read it, I should let you know that I only write to please my God, the God of the Bible, and I know that not everyone agrees with me, and don't expect you to either. And I am fully aware that by putting my writings in view of the public it will be open to criticism, but I actually welcome it. I just started to do "creative wiriting", or at least try to, and I am very open to suggestions about improvements and so on. As for me, I try to do the same # of syllables for every line that rhymes, and that's about it, so here it is, enjoy!

How great is our God!
Who else is like our God?
Are you infinitely wise or
unconditionally loving?
Can you capture the colors of the sunset in a paint brush?
Can you create a masterpiece from a spec of dust?
Could you give the moon its majesty?
Or mold the clouds into a royal tapestry?
How great is our God!
Who else is like our God?
Do you have command over the seas?
Or tell the waves where they should go?
Do your whispers live in the breeze?
Or clothed in love always show?
How great is our God!
Who else is like our God?
Can you give the chord its note?
Could you envision the beauty in her eyes?
Can you tame the lightning bolt?
Or could you name all the stars in the sky?
How great is our God!
Who else is like our God?
Would you ever bleed for another?
Would you ever accept a stranger as a brother?
Can you give men pure words to say?
Or would your actions just lead them astray?
You think you are forever strong…
did you ever think you might be wrong?
