Morpheus in the Dreaming v Phoenix

Started by Richrf6 pages

My God is almighty, the creator of the universe and creation and everything. Not zeus, or Odin or any of the limited skyfathers.

I guess we got to wait until GS gets back, though even HE admits PF is inferior to The Source/The presence etc, so I'm, not sure what he can do even with his patented GS phoenix force essays.

who are the Endless?

Yup, it makes it clear they're superior to that.

Okay I'll accept defeat for now, until our cult leader GS returns.

Bump

So we all agree except for GS and maybe Wannabe that Morpheus in the dreaming beats GS.

Superherovandal read Sandman "A game of you" if I told you about the Endless it would spoil it. ๐Ÿ™‚

Could someone explain this? I thought Phoenix was supposed to be all powerful?

I know you'd love that pic.

Seriously though...for all the phoenix hype on this board...an emp is all it takes?

Well, to be fair:

1)That EMP was HELLUVA powerful! We're talking about Mag-****in-neto here! Whooo! WHOOOO!

2) (and more importantly to the debate) it didn't actually kill Phoenix, just Jean. Phoenix was up and running the next issue, screwing around with the timestream, like all-powerful supercosmics are wont to do. those silly kids...

Oh, and 3) that turned out to be Xorn's brother Xorn (not a typo), not Magneto. ๐Ÿ™

But that's ok, Magneto already owned Phoenix, so spread the wealth to ill-conceived copycats...

Jean is an avatar of the Phoenix Force. She manifests into creation to carry out her phoenix work and can draw on enough power to carry out the orders of the Crown Consciousess. In the above issue (New Xmen 150) Jean talks of having work to do elsewhere and she says she doesnt know how long she will be permitted to stay in the 616 reality because of her commitments. Jeans existence at that moment in time wasnt necessary so her physical body was permitted to die. Jean later manifested next issue 150 years in the future (In the "Here Comes Tomorrow" story arc) to carry out her "destined disinfection" of earth. In other words the destruction of the evil Sublime. With that done she left the multiverse to go back to the white hot room, the afterlife of marvel where she will remain until her phoenix work is next required down in creation. If Jeans work required her to stay in that reality then she would have saved herself. However her death was required to bring about the events that would turn into the "Here Comes Tomorrow" reality. Ok?

Hmm still no comment on the Endless? I guess they really beat PF's ass!

Rich grow up stop trying to make a name for yourself. ๐Ÿ™„

Jean as the White Crown phoenix is up there with Michael and Lucifer to whom the Endless are nothing. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hmm but it seems that the endless will outlast PF. Is that true?

So she lost a battle ๐Ÿ™‚ I thought her ultimate mutation made her one with the Phoenix force and not an avater, you contradict yourself again ๐Ÿ™‚

Mister Dreamy would laugh at the PF then reach into old story of her and pull out a moment she got her rear end kicked or worse simply make her into the point AFTER Marvel figures out making the universe revole around x-men is idiotic and makes her a mino0r cosmic being again

Once again Whirly shows he doesnt acknowledge the posts of the opposition and demonstrates a lack of understanding and inability to correctly interpret information laid out before him. Ive never ever said Jean wasnt an avatar. Jean is an avatar. An avatar by definition is an earthly manifestation of a divine force. Ive always said that Jean was an avatar ive said that Jean is not a HOST. Check back to previous threads and you'll see once again the perceived contradiction is merely in your head. ๐Ÿ˜ฑ ๐Ÿ˜‚

The Phoenix Force derives from the Crown, Marvels equivalent of the Presence. The Endless arent outlasting nothing ๐Ÿ™„

but death well always be around as long as the very concept of the phoneix lives.
