i read in another forum on some xbox fansite that in 2007 the Halo movie will be comming out.

Um... there's like... 80 threads about this already.

Universal and 20th Century Fox have signed with MS to make Halo 1 and 2.

Peter Berg ("Friday Night Lights"😉 has signed on to direct the movie "Splinter Cell," based on the Tom Clancy videogame.
Paramount Pictures hired Berg to direct the film and write the script with videogame writer JT Petty and John J. McLaughlin. Michael Ovitz will produce the movie, with Peter Berg, Michael Clancy, and Yves Guillemot serving as executive producers.

Hopefully Michael Ironside will reprise the roll of Sam.

Peter Jackson is signed on to be the damn Exec. Producer for the Halo movie.

yeah and weta workshop will produce the effects. should be a good thing with them having done lord of the rings and the upcoming chronicles of narnia. peter jacksobn is apparantly a big fan of the game
