First part, you were putting it out there like your schooling makes you the automatic authority. I took four years of psychology and Aced it all. Does this mean anything I say will neccessarily be better than yours? No. It does mean that I have more scholarly background then you, or say another person, but it doesn't automatically validate my opinion. And you're eighteen, point being you aren't a psychologist or a psych major. If you were, your flaunt would have some backing.

Second, it's not stereotypical- it's the Bible. Unless you're a one-day a week Christian, you should try your damndest to be an accepting and reasonable person, feelings and opinions aside. Yes, people get angry and they say this and they say that... but instead of brushing it off like it's no big deal (Which you did) a real Christian would apologize for any offense, deliberate or not, and reiterate their position or move on to another point.

So in short, you're being an immature and contradictory, and you aren't proving up, just saying "Well, I went to school and did this project and got As and thus my totally vague statement about Nazis as a whole raping little girls and woman must be true."

Okay I tried being nice to you, But your acting like a "Know it all I am better then you are Prat". I never said I had Authority. Just because I don't have a Psych major doesn't mean I don't have a clue about Psych. No I am not pro but I still have a basic idea and thats what I was applying, I never went around saying I was all that and then some. You bashed my schooling, I let you know that it was not the average High
school course like you went on about. Secondly before your open your big mouth and spout off saying your not a Psychologist blah blah you should know thats what I am going to college for : To be a Psychologist, I am not one yet but in time I will be one.

The oft-repeated thesis that the purpose of this is first and foremost to take revenge on the enemy accepts, for one thing, that women are "war material", and is, for another, refuted by reality. The victims of rape in May and June of 1945 were not only Germans, but also Jewish women who had survived the Nazi terror, and women from Eastern Europe whom the Nazis had used for slave labor. In Kuwait, too, the women raped were not exclusively Kuwaitis, but also immigrant workers from the Philippines, Egypt and other countries. The "enemy" concept, however, is problematic in this context. Enemies usually know that they are enemies to each other, and they also have a theory why this is to. Someone who is attacked by an enemy usually fights back. None of this is true for the relationship between the genders. Neither do women normally expect to be attacked on a massive scale, nor do they know why this is done. As women from former Yugoslavia reported, they had felt safe until insanity was unleashed upon them (cf. Benard Schlaffer 1992:190). Starting from the above definition, the conclusion to be drawn is that women are raped not because they are enemies, but because they are the objects of a fundamental hatred borne in the cultural unconscious that comes to the surface in times of crisis.

We must obviously face the fact that in our societies there is a varying degree or hatred of women smoldering beneath a brittle surface.4 But these feelings of hatred and contempt manifest themselves already in peacetime. They are, for instance, cultivated in the socially accepted pornography that celebrates physical violence of men against women in peace time and provides a consistent system of hate values (Dworkin). As a result, most men and many women come to regard these hate-filled images as "normal" or neutral or at least not worth mentioning (cf. Dworkin 1990:35). Against this background, war also becomes "an adventure where fantasies of destruction unconsciously directed against women are encouraged and acted out" (Pohl 1992:161).

Soldiers of Nazi Germany also committed rape on a massive scale. It is furthermore known that the Wehrmacht ran brothels where women were forcibly made to work (Trial of the Major War Criminals before the International Military Tribunal, Nuremberg 1946; testimony of Jan. 31, 1946, Vol. 6:404ff; Vol. 7:456f; see also Hilberg 1961:126ff; Brownmiller 1978:55ff). In the Eastern territories the Wehrmacht used to brand the bodies of captured partisan women - and other women as well - with the words "Whore for Hitler's troops" and to use them accordingly.

Okay. Originally, I said quite innocently "Uh, where exactly did Nazis rape women and children?" Specifically, because I hadn't heard any claims or stories about it. I wasn't saying it wasn't true; but when I asked for clarification, you tell me to "use my brain" and act like it's so obvious. I thought you were just lumping the crimes in with Nazis because you are equating Nazis with evil.

Nazis for the most part did evil acts. Yes. Moreso the SS then anyone else, but that's besides the point. I could point out the specifics and whatnot, but this has gotten to be something bigger than it needs to be.

Now, about your schooling; you came off sounding very self righteous and self important, like you took this class and you would know. Up until that point (and actually, until you posted the above post with the information and a link that doesn't work) you hadn't offered anything substantial, which I asked for. I didn't demand it, and I didn't come off like "omfg you idiot... you're wrong... I went to school longer than you you know nothing omfg..." No. I didn't come off like that. But I was a bit offended by your comment because (in case you had forgotten) I've been nice to you several times before and even defended you when other people were ripping in to you. Then, you were right. Now, you are probably right. But I just wanted some clarification. All you had to really say was something like "Well, I remember reading it somewhere. Let me see if I can find a source for you." Or even "I don't have a source right now, but I most certainly did read it. Trust me."

She's very active in the church and is a very good person. And she's made it very clear to me how Christians are expected to act, according to the word of God and of Jesus' preachings. Your rant about how I "wouldn't let it go" and saying I have to "prove my manhood by picking on an eighteen year old girl" and such isn't very Christian like. I didn't push you "that far". If you're this touchy, you have issues that existed long before I posted here. And your statements about "not being a wimp" and "not being pushed around" sound like you have some insecurity issues and you think i'm badgering you. I'm not; I just wanted to get some insight into your post. I remembered you from before and I liked you so I didn't intend to upset you or pick at you.

I am sorry I came off rude to you. I tend to be very opinionated (even though that is not a good quality) and get into arguments easy. I am sorry that I was mean and came off as rude. It just makes me angry when people don't tend or seem like they don't believe me. I am sorry if I upset you.

i love to hurt others, and i love to be hurt in return, some people are just slightly sick in the head, and i am one of them, it give me hapiness to know that i am superior to another, and even more happy to know that sumone else is superior to me, that way i have a goal to reach, but yes, torturing is a problem that they should not have had to go through, i agree. nobody should have to endure some bodies else's anger towards them for no reason, unless they are willing to endure it, that is different.
