Charlie and The Chocolate Factory sucked!

The orginal is so much better. The orginal had a very heavy feel of reality, if though it could actually happen. The remake was like The Cat in The Hat's world.

I thought it sucked. The kids were too young and Charlie had a Dad!

I also loved the songs in the orginal 😮

There were none in the remake...

I didn't expect it to be great but friends of mine were enthusiastic so I gave it a try.

The original is way better. The songs are better and the characters are less cartoony. It's less "MTV" to put it simply.

I agree that the original was better. But the whole point of the new one was to make a film more loyal to the book, which is why they had Charlie's dad in it. I think they both have their good bits, but overall the original is just almost perfect in my opinion. It was a favourite when I was younger and it still is. And all the songs 😱 They're so awesome! 😊 I didn't really like the songs in the new one 😕 and the oompa lumpas really really freaked me out 😐 😮

Tim Burton directed it, its going to be weird like Dr. Seuss

Tim Burton's been slipping. I had high hopes for his last few but was disappointed.
I really expected Sleepy Hollow to be good but I'd take the Disney version over Burton's.

Give me Edward Scissorhands...
