i'm still not wholly convince each guardian is at the 'universe-destroying' level though. and then there's the fact that no one knows how many celestials there really are. you've done well in convincing me there is a fight here, when i initially believed this was a celestial curbstomp, but i think i'd still put my money on the celestials . . .
is everybody just going to ignore the fact that a celestial has never been shown to have a challenge?
and the fact that franklin "i accidentally make alternate universes" richards is said by a celestial to be only a peer AFTER HE EVOLVES?
that means the strongest celestials are, at worst, higher than a being who accidentally creates universes. at best, the weakest celestial is higher than a being.

I'm sorry, just because some DC writer decided to grab an item to impress all the JLA fanboys doesn't mean the actual Avengers were ever in the DCU. If the Marvel Avengers ever acknowledge it then i'll admit I was wrong. Honestly, all you're doing by trying to make it canon here at KCM Forums is trying to tip the balance into DC's favor over biased and writing concessions that would not normally be made under either of the parent companies.
Seriously though, the combination of the DCU and the Marvel U is probably the worst thing that could ever happen to comics. I don't know why anyone would try to push for it. The comics are too different.

A writer for DC claims it was canon to please that certain group of people, but Marvel has never actually acknowledged such a thing. Some people can't accept that a DC trademark character can lose to anything....
