Jason sighed. They were allowed now, but not when he was a Jedi, at least, they'd only been allowed for 3 years in his life time. He sighed again, eyeing his glass, but not picking it up. He felt movement behind him and jumped, knocking his table over. Seeing the man in black robes he activated his lightsaber, but found a red blade at his neck before he could do anything.
Zahlor's voice echoed out of the shadows. "You made your first mistake Jason. Your living in the past. " Zahlor advanced until Jason was up against a wall.
"I should take your advice?" Jason asked, "You fell to the dark side. I trusted Anakin and he killed the Jedi. I can't trust you." He said, gathering his force energy.
"Anakin fell to the dark side, but I have not. I use the dark side, not the other way around Jason. I am not one of the Sith. You have to trust me. You have no choice. No one here knows Alura as well as I do." Zahlor still held his blade at Jason's neck.
Alura heard something coming from the room she had just came from her senses flaired up and she ignighted her lightsaber quickly running towards Jason's quarters. She flew through his door to see him backed against the wall with a lightsaber being held to his neck. She couldn't tell who the man with the redlightsaber was but she assumed he was sith.
"Don't move sith..." she said holding her lightsaber close to the back of the sith.
"release him... I don't know why you're here, but back off or I.. I'll swing... i'm not afraid to." she looked franticly at jason her eyes now even more teary afraid that she was going to witness his death.
Zahlor and Jason both looked at Alura. Zahlor froze seeing the tears in her eyes, and Jason took his chance. He made an upper cut, knocking Zahlor's blade back and then spun, swinging in a broad arc. Zahlor blocked the attack and jumped backwards, but Jason jumped forwards after him and their blades clashed together. Zahlor swung an arc that would just fall short of Jasons chest, but the Jedi jumped backwardsa anyway, landing behind his table. Zahlor rushed forward, swinging his saber he cut through the wood and pinned Jason against the wall. "Damnit Jedi, what's wrong with you?" He shouted.
"Fine." Zahlor held out a hand and dropped his saber. It clattered to the floor, the blade deactivating. He hung his head, "Jason. You know what you have to do. Your a person first, and a Jedi second. " He said, and ran out of the room, leaving his sabre behind.
Jason stood, to shocked to react. He hung his head and deactivated his blade putting it away. "I'm sorry Alura."
"I don't know." He said, still looking at the ground, he started to shake. "He told me a long time ago and I didn't believe him, no one believed him. And now look what's happened. He had to fall to the dark side to stop the Sith, and he wasn't able to. Luke, Kyle, Han Solo. They all died. I feel like this is all my fault." He said, he started to shake. "The rise of the Sith. Everything."
Despite all he was feeling Jason smiled. "He's the wisest, maybe not the smartest, but the wisest man alive." He looked down at her and put his arms around her, needing the comfort. "He was the one who encouraged the Jedi to love. A Jedi is a title, but every Jedi was, and always will be, a person first. And all people need someone."
"Because...I...I always keep everything, every emotion, good or bad, bottle up inside of me. Trying not to let anyone know." He said, not taking his eyes off of hers. "But...I guess...it's just what happens when someone let's it all out at once. I don't feel like I have to keep it all inside anymore." He paused. "If I am going to love someone, there is no need to keep the rest depleted."
