Last issue of Batman, it shows Batman benching over a thousand pounds.

The plate on the right side of the bar said 500 lbs and there were more plates on that side.

I forget the issue number its Grants and Andy''s first issue together though.

My fav character is actually Captain America but close behind is Bats. I kinda see Bats as somone on Caps level physically with gadgets.

I do however belive that Bats is probably the best comic character ever made there is alot of depth to him.

I could go on forever, of course the main inspiring thing about Batman is that he is human

Also bare in mind im a hardcore Marvelite. I dont even have time for DC except Batman, cos Batman comics kick ****ing ***!

Me and my mates used to take the piss out of DC at school, so for Bats to be one of my fav characters is a biggy.

I got to admit though Frank Miller has alot to do with converting me.

Look here the second to last plate says 500lbs there's a bigger one after that and 2 more in front of that. I'm guessing they're about 100 to 150 each maybe more maybe a little less and thats just one side.
Plus it looks like he's doing reps with it and there's no spotter or weight belt there.
