HBP- What are your impressions?

IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE HBP PLEASE LEAVE NOW, OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE DOING YOUR SELF A BAD FAVOUR.

How did you like it? I don’t know if its me, perhaps I have been expecting a bit too much, but I got a feeling as if someone else was writing the book. In a way, the style used in this book was rather different then the previous 5 book. I mean, is one thing that the book by the virtue of the content is different then the other 5, but also as I said above the style was/is completely different. Perhaps it’s a result of the pressure JK was under to write the book. I have to admit that there were parts that I liked in the book, but sometimes it gave me a feeling as if I was reading a different book, somehow the HBP is missing of what I know as “ JK passion, rage, and energy”. Some of my friends with whom I discussed this had the same impression, and the reason for this topic is to see what all of you think? Post your opinion here, also tell me which parts of the book you liked and which one disappointed you (by the writing style not the content).

that was before HPB was released and has a lot to do with the sphere of speculations, this is more concreate.

I never really paid much to the writing style, but I did notice it change. I tried not to, but I did. It's not like I'm an English teacher or something. *shudders at the thought of becoming an English teacher*

As much as it pains me to do this, Uni, you can talk about this topic in the Half Prince Blood thread. Phoe merged it so that you can talk about the book and speculate about what's going to happen next. Also, you can talk about JK's writing style in there. 🙂
