aware that many scenes in the Matrix were stolen from the Ghost In The Shell animated thrillers directed by Mamoru Oshii?

the matrix was influenced by many various works, the W bros. even said this themselves so get over it already, it's been over 6 years since it came out.

Im sure George Lucas stole things from Flash Gordon as well, but who gives a damn.
