Dude, people will see whatever they want to see, and anyone can draw shapes onto a map to make a point. The only reason someone did it with DC is because someone has a mad-on for our administration (or organized government in general). We're evolutionarily programmed to be pattern-seeking individuals anyway, and when someone is out to find connections, it becomes even more self-fulfilling.
Think of how long it took to build everything in the capitol, and the numerous people, and numerous generations of people, it took to form it. So your fancy pentagrams and trees were, what, planned by contractors and politicians over a number of centuries?! Or was it simply the Devil's plan all along?

Also, the stories you mention seem to borrow liberally from Egyptian mythology, which predates both Freemasonry and the Christian Satan (though not gods of the underworld). Osiris was the sun god, Horus his earthly incarnation and son. Tacitly assuming they're nothing but "fill-in" names for Satan is both laughable and false. And the pyrimid and eye on the dollar bill is nothing new, and the Eye of Horus/Osiris has been around for millenia. It's not a DC Satanic conspiracy, it's just that our forefathers knew their mythology.
Dan Brown writes fiction kids. Smatterings of truth and symbols mixed in with a butt-load of made up nonsense in the attempt to engage readers in a suspenseful plot. Be careful what you read, especially when you're impressionable.
